Super Bowl 2016 Live Stream: Panthers vs. Broncos Mobile-Friendly Info, Features
The demand for live-streaming continues to increase in the modern digital age, and the NFL is keeping up with the times with its distribution of Super Bowl 50 over numerous platforms through CBS Sports and the NFL Mobile app.
CBS will serve as the home of Sunday's matchup between the Carolina Panthers and the Denver Broncos. While millions will watch the TV broadcast, there are plenty of other ways to view the battle for the Lombardi Trophy.
The live-streaming service available on CBSSports.com allows computer and tablet users to access the game. For those who have the CBS Sports app, Super Bowl 50 is able to stream through numerous home entertainment devices: Apple TV, Xbox One, Amazon Fire TV, Roku, Android TV and Chromecast.

As far as mobile-friendly streams go, though, only eligible Verizon customers with the NFL Mobile app are able to witness the game that way. That still takes care of a sizable audience, yet it's still not quite as universally accessible as it could be.

At least the tablets allow some mobile freedom and should provide a quality stream of the game as long as consumers have decent Internet connections. For those on the go and only armed with mobile phones, watching the big game may prove a bit more difficult.
The NFL Mobile app may be exclusive to a degree, but for those whose cellphone provider is Verizon, it certainly enhances the Super Bowl 50 experience.
There's a page dedicated to the Panthers-Broncos matchup, featuring sophisticated stats for both teams to provide unique analysis and interesting angles to view Sunday's contest from.
To name a couple of examples: The Broncos have 11 wins by seven points or fewer—the most since 1940. Carolina has 31 straight games of over 100 yards rushing. That's the longest streak since the Pittsburgh Steelers racked up 37 such contests in a row from 1974 to 1976. Pittsburgh won two Super Bowls in that span.
There are a few videos per team available on the "Road to the Super Bowl' tab, and there's also a link to other apps, such as "Road to 50," which boasts exclusive content and prizes for fans. Also featured is the Super Bowl Stadium App, one that allows fans to watch commercials, instant replays, provides game information and also has maps to help navigation efforts at Levi's Stadium.
Super Bowl 50's widespread coverage is a win for most fans, as is the clash on tap for pro football's epic finale.
Save for those who are faithful to either participating team, casual observers can't really go wrong rooting for either side. Legendary quarterback Peyton Manning of the Broncos has the chance to end his career with a second championship, with a magnificent defense filled with stars to help back him up.
But Panthers signal-caller Cam Newton is a dual-threat dynamo unlike anyone the NFL has ever seen and was named MVP at NFL Honors on Saturday. Newton has been a polarizing figure with his penchant for celebrations, and Denver's lauded defense has the ultimate task to stymie him on the big stage.
Beyond the QBs, this game ought to feature plenty of physicality, a heavy reliance on the rushing attack and tremendous defense from both sides. It may come down to which field general has the ball last and can make the timely throw against a formidable adversary.
