Super Bowl Odds 2016: Prop Bet List, Moneyline Info for Panthers vs. Broncos
According to Las Vegas, Peyton Manning of the Denver Broncos won't be riding off into the sunset with a Lombardi Trophy in hand thanks to the Carolina Panthers' Cam Newton.
In fact, with prop bets, spreads and lines all available for the 2016 Super Bowl just a day away from the heavyweight bout, the most even-looking thing about the encounter happens to be the coin toss.
Maybe that's obvious, but it just goes to show how much Las Vegas and those who have already thrown coin down on the Super Bowl seem to favor the Panthers.

As always seems to be the case, the prop bets stand as the most interesting thing around the Super Bowl.
Folks can wager on the coin toss, how much the announcers refer to "Dabbing," the color of Beyonce's shoes, what song Coldplay opens the halftime show with and so much more.
The best odds find a way to implement history and a bit of fun into numbers and feats surrounding the game itself. Here's a small sampling of a little bit of everything, with the full list of prop bets available at Odds Shark:

There's nothing quite like having a bigger reason to care about the game than having a bit of money invested in the outcome of something as simple as a coin toss.
This is especially the case for fans of teams that didn't make it to Santa Clara.
Bleacher Report posted a smooth infographic with numbers detailing how bettors might want to handle certain props:
As for the actual in-game odds, well, it's all about the Panthers.
Something like first-touchdown scorer isn't too difficult to figure out. Odds are that one goes to Newton, he of 45 total touchdowns in the regular season and an almost eerily casual leader of a 49-15 dismantling of an elite Arizona Cardinals defense in the NFC Championship Game.
Put it this way, as Manning did, according to NFL.com's Marc Sessler:
It only makes sense, then, that Newton leads the way for that particular prop—the one pertaining to who scores the game's first touchdown. His favorite target, tight end Greg Olsen, isn't far behind after a season in which he led the Panthers in receiving at 77 catches for 1,104 yards and seven touchdowns.
Likewise, Newton leads the way in MVP odds. There, Manning comes in second for obvious reasons. He hasn't looked particularly sharp since returning from injury in Week 17, but he plays the likeliest position to win the individual hardware and, well, he's Manning.
One should never count out Manning. But as ESPN Stats & Info shows, other quarterbacks who have hoisted the Lombardi haven't fared well against the Carolina defense this year, which led the league in interceptions:
This seems to be the theme with the odds. After Manning in the MVP discussion, it's Carolina linebacker Luke Kuechly, who has a habit of forcing turnovers, if not scoring touchdowns. Then it is Newton's top wideout and maybe the largest big-play threat outside of Newton himself: Ted Ginn Jr.
Las Vegas seems to believe the Carolina defense will have an answer for Manning, which makes plenty of sense. This isn't just an overreaction to Manning not looking like his past self, as he's missed throws since his return and otherwise leaned on a disruptive defense and a solid running game to make it this far.
That's not such a bad thing, at least until an encounter with the Panthers.
As the numbers show, Denver has impressed this year on the defensive side of things. But Von Miller and the unit haven't encountered anything quite like Newton, who can make big plays with his arm or feet.
Newton's not going to let this one slip away. He hasn't blinked all year and it doesn't hurt that his opportunistic defense gives him more chances to control the pace of games. Expect that to happen here as the odds seem to suggest, with Newton keeping the Broncos honest before going up over the top late in the game.
While it makes for an almost boring affair if most game-based props and odds go toward the favorite, it's a good thing this is the Super Bowl—there are plenty of other odds to make headway with.
Prediction: Panthers 28, Broncos 20
