WWE Fastlane 2016: Predicting Match Card, Most Likely Swerves at PPV
WWE's upcoming Fastlane pay-per-view on February 21 is a crucial show for the company in more ways than one.
It is a vital pay-per-view to ensure that WrestleMania 32 goes off with a real bang for one, so the rivalries and outcomes of matches here will tell us a lot about what the card for the biggest show of the year looks like.
It's WWE's final chance to sell WrestleMania on pay-per-view before the show itself, so expect some swerves in the offing too.

Most Likely Backlash Heel/Face Turns 🎭
Here's what the card could look like for Fastlane, as well as any probable swerves that could take place.
Kevin Owens vs. Dolph Ziggler, AJ Styles vs. Chris Jericho
Fans are still hopeful that they will see a Kevin Owens vs. AJ Styles match at WrestleMania, which would be a fantastic bout between two of the most popular guys on the roster.
But for that to happen, they need to have something worthwhile to get them into WrestleMania season to begin to build their feud.
For Kevin Owens, it seems that he's headed into a mini-rivalry with Dolph Ziggler, an avenue that has been explored by WWE on numerous occasions in the past.
Expect him to score a victory fairly early in the night here before a swerve involving Owens later in the night with AJ Styles.
Styles will face Chris Jericho in a grudge match at Fastlane, but Owens could easily come down and cost Styles the victory, not only further turning Jericho heel, but setting Styles vs. Owens up for Mania.
Charlotte vs. Brie Bella
WWE is surely going to wait before giving us Sasha Banks vs. Charlotte at WrestleMania, so given recent developments in the Divas division, this seems like a logical prediction to make.
There's storyline background there with Nikki Bella being out injured and Charlotte constantly teasing Brie about it, and they've had a couple of interactions recently too.
Brie's non-title victory on Raw this past week could be the catalyst for this match to take place, but it's how WWE goes from that to a likely bout for Charlotte against Banks, with Becky Lynch potentially involved too.
The Divas division certainly seems to be headed for a title match involving both Charlotte and Brie at Fastlane.
Alberto Del Rio vs. Kalisto
Surely WWE won't continue its recent policy of passing the United States Championship around at Fastlane?
This is the prime opportunity for not only Kalisto to cement himself as a top singles star in WWE, but also for Alberto Del Rio to move on to something new.
His involvement with the League of Nations has gone stale in truth, as has the entirety of the stable.
We could see a swerve here with Del Rio turning babyface, perhaps by acknowledging Kalisto as a worthy winner after the match, securing a breakaway from Rusev, Sheamus and King Barrett.
Either way, it's surely a certainty that Kalisto will retain and set himself up for a big reign heading into WrestleMania.
Brock Lesnar vs. Dean Ambrose vs. Roman Reigns
There's obviously going to be swerves here for a number of reasons.
First of all, if it is going to be Triple H vs. Roman Reigns at WrestleMania, how does Brock Lesnar come out of all this?
He can't lose cleanly, as that goes against WWE's policy of making Lesnar into a real indestructible force.
So the swerve surely has to come with Bray Wyatt, who will attack Lesnar in the closing stages of the match and set up Brock vs. Bray at WrestleMania.
The other dilemma for WWE then is to decide what it does with Dean Ambrose. Does Ambrose come out of this match looking in the worst shape? That would be a bizarre move, especially given how he's a strong midcard champion at the moment.
Perhaps his own WrestleMania fate will be played out in the latter stages here, like Lesnar's. He could be screwed as well.
