Plenty of Friday morning's back pages focus on the IAAF scandal, but there is still room for the latest from the beautiful game—much of it concerning the knock-on effect of Real and Atletico Madrid's transfer bans.

The Daily Star also believes Premier League clubs are bracing themselves for a Real Madrid spending spree:

The Mirror, meanwhile, believes Madrid's ban might make it easier for Chelsea to acquire the services of Diego Simeone:

The Guardian also focuses on the Madrid ban, claiming that Manchester United and Chelsea will have to alter their transfer plans. United would be less likely to sell De Gea and purchase Gareth Bale or Cristiano Ronaldo, while Chelsea would not be able to sell Hazard to Real or Diego Costa to Atleti:

The Telegraph eschews the Madrid transfer ban, instead giving attention to Alexandre Pato's rumoured move to Stamford Bridge:

The Times understands that Manchester United's head of youth player recruitment, Derek Langley, is set to leave the club at the end of the season due to "disillusionment about the state of the academy":
