Thibaut Courtois Reportedly to Miss Manchester United Match Due to Ankle Injury
Chelsea will reportedly have to make do without star goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois for their match with Manchester United on Sunday in the Premier League, with the Belgium international said to have suffered an ankle injury.
The 24-year-old's problem was reported by Kristof Terreur of Het Laatste Nieuws in the buildup to the match:

Terreur also noted that Asmir Begovic is set to step in to replace the Blues' first-choice 'keeper.
The Blues go into the match at Old Trafford having had their lead at the top of the table cut down to four points following Tottenham Hotspur’s win 4-0 over Bournemouth on Saturday.
Courtois’ absence will be a massive blow for Chelsea as he’s rediscovered his very best form under manager Antonio Conte.
During the 2015-16 season, an injury early on in the season meant the former Atletico Madrid man was absent for a long spell and upon returning to the team he struggled to settle. But in 2016-17 he’s been supreme and a crucial factor in the Blues’ excellent defensive record.
Courtois is such an authoritative presence at the base of the team, as he commands his area well and distributes with composure. Additionally, the Belgian’s frame and agility means he can claw shots out of the corner of the goal.

Chelsea do have a capable deputy in Begovic. The Bosnia and Herzegovina international excelled during his time at Stoke City and impressed when handed a chance last term. However, the 29-year-old has been limited to appearances in the cup competitions this season.
Replacing Courtois is a massive challenge too. Those tied to the Blues will be hopeful he’s back for next weekend’s Wembley date with Tottenham Hotspur, as Chelsea seek to secure a Premier League and FA Cup double.
