Carson Palmer Breaks Kurt Warner's Cardinals Record for Most TD Passes in Season
Quarterback Carson Palmer has the Arizona Cardinals atop the NFC West at 10-2 and looking like a legitimate Super Bowl contender this season.
He added another accomplishment to his impressive 2015 marks Thursday against the Minnesota Vikings when he threw for his 31st touchdown of the season, which set the Cardinals' franchise record.

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
Kurt Warner set the original record in 2008, when he threw for 30 touchdowns on the way to a Super Bowl appearance.
Palmer's record-breaker came midway through the third quarter when he found wide receiver Michael Floyd open down the right sideline for a 42-yard catch-and-run score.
Jonathan Jones of the Charlotte Observer snapped a Vine of the historic moment:
Warner had this to say about the record, via Craig Morgan of AZ Sports:
Palmer tied the record in the second quarter when he connected with John Brown for a 65-yard score to give Arizona a 10-7 lead. Brown did plenty of the work with his game-breaking speed, but Palmer scrambled outside the pocket and kept the play alive long enough to find the pass-catcher.
The NFL shared the highlight:
This is the second time in Palmer's career he reached the 31-touchdown mark. He threw for 32 scores in 2005 as a member of the Cincinnati Bengals when he led his team into the postseason. This is also the eighth time in Palmer's career he threw for more than 20 touchdowns in a year and the second time he did so since joining the Cardinals in 2013.
Palmer also tied New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady atop the NFL leaderboard for touchdown passes this season with 31 after he hit Floyd for the score.
Palmer now has a franchise record and two Pro Bowls on his career resume, but he could add an elusive MVP and Lombardi Trophy if he continues to play at such a high level.
