WWE NXT Results: Biggest Winners, Losers and Moments from November 25

Erik BeastonNov 26, 2015

For months, fans have speculated that WWE and NXT management have made it a goal to push Eva Marie down the throat of the collective fanbase, regardless of what they perceive to be a complete lack of competence between the ropes.

Wednesday night on the WWE Network, the company turned fans' conspiracy theories into an angle, recruiting Michael Cole and referee Charles Robinson to suggest that the fix was in. The result was an incredibly hot, tremendously dramatic main event that only strengthened the connection women's champion Bayley has with the fans.

Despite the odds against her, the champion retained, much to the delight of the NXT faithful.

Then she suffered a vicious leg drop from Nia Jax, who instantly established herself as the biggest threat to the top prize in women's wrestling.

The layered storytelling helped make the main event of the November 25 episode an example of sports entertainment done to perfection. It also resulted in Bayley, Eva Marie and Nia Jax earning biggest winner's status for their contributions: Bayley, because she was once again confirmed as the most pure babyface in the sport; Eva Marie, because she performed admirably in her first chance to work a high-profile match against an experienced opponent; and Nia Jax because she was interjected into the title hunt despite three squash match wins to her name.

They were not the only winners, though, and not everyone had as productive and rewarding an evening.

Who joined them on the positive side of things, and which Superstars or Divas were not quite as fortunate?

Winner: Apollo Crews

The dynamic, athletic and powerful performer worked only two minutes Wednesday night but maximized every second of his time, wowing as he tore through former TNA Wrestling star Jesse Sorensen.

Making things better was that the former Uhaa Nation had the opportunity to speak in front of a live audience, something he has not been afforded to this point.

He came off extremely well and did a lot to sell his impending battle with Baron Corbin in the brief period of time he had in front of the cameras.

Crews has steadily developed and evolved his on-screen persona over time, and is now clearly one of the top stars in the hottest brand in wrestling.

Losers: The Vaudevillains

The former NXT tag team champions had an opportunity to regain the championships taken from them by Dash Wilder and Scott Dawson and failed, despite a solid performance from both Aiden English and Simon Gotch.

The loss is not what earns them a spot on the loser's side of the argument, though. The fact that they are suddenly lost in the shuffle, what with the return of Big Cass and Enzo Amore, and the rise of Chad Gable and Jason Jordan, earns them loser status.

After winning the tag titles, switching from heel to babyface, perhaps it is time for the competitors to go their separate ways and carve paths for themselves in singles competition.

Winner: Emma and Dana Brooke

As the rivalry between Emma and Asuka continues to blossom, it was of the utmost importance that the Aussie Diva and associate Dana Brooke looked strong. They did that, proving that their numbers advantage is much more dangerous and potentially damning for the Japanese star than anyone thought.

For the first time, Asuka was left lying, the recipient of a sneak attack and beatdown by Emma, whose trademark submission hold left the enigmatic babyface writhing in pain.

There is heat on the heels for the first time in the program, and that will only help when it is time for the competitors to take to the ring in what will presumably take place at TakeOver: Ambush.
