O'Shaughnessy Out for Week 10

According to Chiefs.com's BJ Kissel, O'Shaughnessy will not suit up for Kansas City on Sunday against the Broncos, as he has a fractured foot.
Per Pete Sweeney of Chiefs.com, the rookie picked up the injury Thursday. Sweeney described the ailment as a fracture in "a small bone in his foot."
The severity of the fracture or a timetable for a possible return has not been released.
This isn't the first time this season O'Shaughnessy will miss action, as he was inactive for the Chiefs' Week 8 game against the Detroit Lions. It came down to the tight end's ability to block, as head coach Andy Reid told Sweeney:
Backing up Travis Kelce, who is second on the team with 40 receptions, O'Shaughnessy has been relegated to mostly blocking as he has recorded just six receptions in seven games this season.
Demetrius Harris has appeared in all eight games this season and should see an increase in snaps. Starting five games as the team's second tight end, Harris has split time with O'Shaughnessy and has reeled in just two catches as he has also been utilized as an additional blocker along the line.
It's not like quarterback Alex Smith will be losing a receiving option with the loss of O'Shaughnessy, but having a player that has spent a lot of time blocking along the offensive line could affect his protection. Kansas City's offensive line will be in for a test this week, too, as it takes on one of the league's best defenses in the Broncos.
