Bray Wyatt Must Beat The Undertaker
With everything happening involving Seth Rollins the newly vacated WWE World Heavyweight Championship, Bray Wyatt's rivalry with The Undertaker and Kane has almost been lost in the shuffle.
That shouldn't be the case, though, as this has all the hallmarks of a breakthrough rivalry for Wyatt. His promos have always been eerie and mysterious, but he took it to a whole new level last week with the one he cut on Raw.
He acted as if he has taken on Undertaker and Kane's mysterious powers, and it only adds more intrigue to a rivalry that could yet steal the show at Survivor Series.
The fact that there are more questions than answers at the moment also leaves things handily placed. Where are the two brothers? Will they have anyone else by their side for the match at Survivor Series?
"Bray Wyatt is making WWE interesting again! He truly is the new face of fear! He is this generations undertaker! He is incredible!
— PWV (@PWVWorld) November 3, 2015"
Whatever the answers to those questions are though, it's vital WWE ensures Wyatt goes over cleanly here. He needs a big, breakthrough victory to catapult him to the main event scene, and with a gap in the market due to Rollins' injury, this could be a big few months for Bray.
Only a victory here will get him off to the best start toward a push into the world title picture, though.
A Star Must Emerge in the Championship Tournament
It would rank as a major surprise if WWE opts for a surprise name as its new WWE World Heavyweight Champion.
There are two or three clear favorites if a tournament does take place, but the development of some future talent is also important in this event.
Sure, a guy like Roman Reigns could end up with the title, but let's see someone new and exciting put in some strong performances in the tournament, and even go all the way to the final.
Someone like Kevin Owens, for example. His stock has fallen a touch since his explosive debut onto the main roster earlier this year, but he can really lay a marker down for the future here with a strong showing.
If, for example, he fights Reigns in one of the rounds and they put on the match of the tournament with Owens just falling short, it offers a potential feud for the future.
Owens could be aggrieved he didn't get over the line, for example, and go after Reigns in the months to come.
WWE could even use the tournament to put someone from NXT into the mix. Finn Balor or Samoa Joe are two obvious examples, but it might even fall nicely for someone like Sami Zayn to come back into things following his injury.
With a tournament, it's often easy to only think about the winner. But the rest of the bracket deserve a mention in this instance, because with a roster depleted of top talent, this is a great opportunity to bring someone fresh into the mix at the top of the card.
WWE Must Be Brave with Their New Champion
This certainly isn't an anti-Roman Reigns campaign, but would going with Reigns as the new champion be a fraction safe?
As mentioned above, WWE is short on talent at the moment. The roster is depleted, and this is the opportunity to blood someone new and exciting into the world title picture.
Reigns can get the title in the months to come, sure, but use this tournament as the chance to push a brave face to the top and test them out as world champion.
Why can't someone like Dean Ambrose win the WWE World Heavyweight Championship, for example? He was locked in a great feud with Seth Rollins for the title this year, and he certainly has the fanbase to be considered big enough to be a world champion.
Lots of fans would want Ambrose as their champion, especially over Reigns. WWE is short of brave calls and big decisions at the moment, but this is the chance to do something completely out of the ordinary and something really dramatic.
