Tre Bryant Decommits from Kansas State: Latest Details, Comments and Reaction
Kansas State football just took a hit, and the player in question isn't even enrolled in the school yet. On Wednesday, 3-star running back recruit Tre Bryant announced via his Twitter that he has decommitted from the Wildcats.
Here is his tweet announcing his decision:
Out of Christian Brothers College in St. Louis, Bryant is listed by 247Sports' composite ratings as the fifth-best prospect in the state and the 41st-ranked running back in the nation from the class of 2016.
Bryant isn't wasting any time either, according to 247Sports' Michael Bruntz:
With a 40-yard dash time of 4.52, Bryant doesn't hold the blazing speed that some of the premier backs in the nation possess, but he does make up for it in toughness.
At 5'10" and 195 pounds, he uses his stature as leverage to stay low to the ground and break plenty of tackles. Here are just some of his highlights from his junior year, courtesy of Hudl:
According to Steve Wiltfong of 247Sports, Bryant recently completed a visit to Minnesota and will also consider Indiana, Northwestern, Syracuse and Vanderbilt after his trip to Nebraska.
With some big schools seeking his signature, it's safe to assume that no matter where Bryant goes, he will be featured in the backfield of a prominent program's team in the next few years
