Juventus vs. Torino: Team News, Predicted Lineups, Live Stream, TV Info
Having appeared to turn the corner with a four-match unbeaten run, Juventus once again laboured in their last outing, losing 1-0 to Sassuolo. There is no time for the Bianconeri to ponder that result, however, with Saturday seeing them host the first Turin derby of 2015/16.
The problems facing Massimiliano Allegri and his players were laid bare at the Mapei Stadium, with their myriad issues discussed at length in this previous column. The Juve boss gave his view of the situation at his post-match press conference, telling reporters there was “absolutely no excuse” for their poor display.
Allegri added that the team must take responsibility, and his thoughts were echoed by Gigi Buffon, with the goalkeeper giving a remarkably honest interview to Mediaset Premium shortly after the final whistle (h/t Football Italia):

"The first half was simply unacceptable. I am stunned, as I am the captain and it hurts my soul to see my team dominated like that, to see my team not realise how important this game is and what attitude to take.
There was also too much arguing with the referee. Talking about the referee all the time is what losers do and we do not stoop to that level. We wear the Juventus shirt and must do it justice.
"
Awaiting them are city rivals Torino, who are two places above the Bianconeri and have suffered their own downturn in form. Winning just one of their last six matches, Giampiero Ventura has pinpointed the clash with Juve as a crucial one for his side as they look to return to form.
“The derby is an emotional match, and it will be an important match in our growth,” the coach told Radio RAI after Torino’s draw with Genoa (h/t Gazzetta World). “We will try to do our best, but we’ll see how we approach the match. We have several weaknesses.”
With both teams desperate to take all three points, this promises to be an intriguing battle between these two rivals, particularly as the Granata won the last instalment of this fixture back in May.

Player to Watch
There is little doubt that the player to watch here will be Fabio Quagliarella, the Torino striker who spent four years with Juventus before moving across town in July 2014.
During his time with the Bianconeri, the 32-year-old won three league titles and was an important figure in the club’s resurgence. Having spent his youth career with their city rivals, he has been no less influential, weighing in with 13 goals and four assists last term and already netting four times in 2015/16.
That tally includes the winning goal against his old club last May, of course—a feat he would love to repeat this season—and his former team-mates in the Juventus defence will have to be wary of him at all times.
Key Battle
If Quagliarella poses the biggest threat for Torino, perhaps the key matchup to decide this fixture will come at the opposite end of the pitch. Kamil Glik is the rock on which the Granata defence is built, and the club captain—who also skippers the Poland national side—rarely turns in a poor performance.
Getting past him will represent a challenge for a Juventus side who have at times laboured in attack this term. The likes of Mario Mandzukic and Alvaro Morata have yet to click into form, while the problems surrounding Paulo Dybala were discussed in detail in this previous post.

At least one of that trio will need to spark if the Bianconeri are to emerge with a win, and they will want to make amends for their derby defeat last time out.
