Carlos Hyde, Reggie Bush Post-Week 7 Fantasy Advice
The San Francisco 49ers are on their way to the cellar of the NFC West after their 20-3 Thursday night loss against the Seattle Seahawks.
Finding themselves in a 17-0 hole with an offense that couldn't get anything going, their rushing game anchored by Carlos Hyde—and this week Reggie Bush—never had much of a chance for success in Week 7.
Here is how both backs performed on Thursday night.

Fantasy owners might have been a bit desperate this week if they were starting Hyde. The second-year back has been nursing a stress fracture in his left foot, per CBS Sports (h/t Paul Gutierrez of ESPN.com), yet still took the field.
That alone would have kept him out of my lineups right there. Yet he toughed through it despite seeing little success.
Much of that had to do with the fact that the 49ers were playing from behind most of the game.
Yet some, such as Yahoo Sports' Brad Evans, believe Hyde would be putting up big numbers if he just had some help:
That won't give fantasy owners much consolation, as having 11 carries for 40 yards isn't nearly enough for a top-two running back on your team. It's the fifth time this season Hyde has recorded a single-digit point output—patience should be wearing thin with him.
It's time to move Hyde down on your depth chart and give your more consistent running backs a chance to gain you some points. Additionally, monitor that stress fracture. If it continues to nag him, it might be time to show him the bench.
Reggie Bush

If Hyde wasn't getting the ball enough, then there was little chance Reggie Bush would see it much either.
Bush's saving grace is his ability to catch the ball out of the backfield. Even though he had four carries on the night, his three receptions put him within six yards of Hyde's Thursday output.
That still doesn't warrant him a spot on your roster, as it's the first time this season he has recorded a single fantasy point, according to ESPN's fantasy scoring.
The only way Bush should ever make his way onto your fantasy team is if Hyde's foot problems worsen and he misses a considerable amount of time. Even then, you need to see how the Niners are using him in the offense if they activate third running back Jarryd Hayne.
My advice for now: Stay away.
