Arsene Wenger Set to Rest Petr Cech, Aaron Ramsey During Arsenal vs. Olympiakos
Arsenal duo Petr Cech and Aaron Ramsey are set to be rested for Tuesday's match against Olympiakos as manager Arsene Wenger looks to make another selection gamble in the Champions League.
Back-up goalkeeper David Ospina will come in for Cech and Ramsey is reportedly being rested ahead of the weekend's Premier League clash with top-of-the-table Manchester United.
Per John Cross in the Mirror, Wenger is eager to give Colombian Ospina game time after the 27-year-old opted to stay at the Emirates over the summer, while the Frenchman also suggested midfielder Francis Coquelin might return to action:

"What I just want to say, it was not because I have decided Ospina [always] plays in the Champions League. It will go game by game and there can be a different decision. I need to give him [Ospina] games and I think he is a top-level goalkeeper, but that doesn’t mean that he will play. That’s our job, our job is about selection and competing with other players. I think he [Ospina] does that extremely well. I am fortunate to have two keepers of this quality. He is much younger than Petr Cech, he will get games at the top level, don’t worry.
I am looking at him (Ramsey), yes. I have to see how Coquelin is. I wait for feedback from the medical people.

Wenger's selection backfired last time out in the Champions League as he made wholesale changes—including swapping in Ospina for Cech—and Arsenal lost 2-1 to Dinamo Zagreb.

The defeat in Croatia has put added pressure on Tuesday night's match at the Emirates as victory is essential against Olympiakos if the Gunners are to have any chance of topping a Group F that also includes Bayern Munich.
There will also be massive pressure on Ospina.
Wenger is clearly eager to make good on his summer promise to give Ospina minutes despite the arrival of Cech, a vow that persuaded the Colombia international to stay at Arsenal, per Cross in the Mirror.
However, should Ospina not perform when he is handed opportunities, Wenger will likely be forced to sideline him more often.
Cech is a better, more experienced goalkeeper than his deputy, and the fact is the 33-year-old is in no need of rest.
He had an uneventful 2014-15 season as he played mainly as a No. 2 to Thibaut Courtois at Chelsea, and the new term is not even two months old.
It is admirable that Wenger is looking to give as much game time as possible to squad members—and the upcoming United game is an important clash.
But should his gamble fail again on Tuesday against Olympiakos, he will need to drastically rethink his rotation policy.
