Thad Lewis to Eagles: Latest Contract Details, Comments and Reaction

Projecting Every NFL Team's Starting Lineup 🔮

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
If everything goes according to plan for the Eagles this year, it's doubtful Lewis will play at all. Bradford remains first in the depth chart at QB, with Mark Sanchez behind him. Then, down at third, sits Lewis.
In the event he steps on the field for meaningful snaps, something will have likely gone very wrong for the team.
Should disaster strike and Philadelphia actually need to rely on Lewis, head coach Chip Kelly at least knows Lewis is somewhat proven in the NFL. He made six starts over the past four seasons, throwing for 1,296 yards, five touchdowns and four interceptions.
Between Bradford's injury history and Sanchez's past performance, it's entirely possible the Eagles will have to break the emergency glass and insert Lewis into the lineup at some point this year.
