Crosby Passes Longwell to Become Packers' All-Time Leading Scorer
Green Bay Packers kicker Mason Crosby passed Ryan Longwell as the franchise's all-time leading scorer during Sunday's 27-17 win over the Seattle Seahawks, per the Packers' official website.
Crosby entered the game with 1,044 career points, needing just 10 more to match Longwell's Packers record of 1,054.
Following a pair of field goals (from 54 and 18 yards) and an extra point in the first half, Crosby found himself just a field goal shy of the record.

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
He tied the mark with a 44-yarder in the third quarter, cutting the Seahawks' lead to 17-16 in the process.
The Packers then scored a go-ahead touchdown in the fourth quarter, but Crosby didn't get a chance to break the scoring record, as his team went for the two-point conversion (successfully) to make it a seven-point game.
Crosby finally got his chance at the two-minute warning when he hit a chip-shot, 21-yard field goal to clinch the Packers' 27-17 victory.
Although he has been maligned for much of his tenure in Green Bay, Crosby has been surprisingly consistent over the past few years, finally combining above-average accuracy with his always-excellent leg strength.
He has still made just 79.5 percent of his career field-goal attempts, but he finished above 80 percent in 2013 and 2014 despite trying seven kicks from beyond 50 yards in each season.
