Latest on Smith's Practice Status

The Ravens announced that Smith participated in full during Friday's session.

Smith Struggling to Stay Healthy in NFL

Since the Ravens made Smith the 27th overall pick in 2011, Smith has been plagued by injuries. He's only played all 16 regular-season games once (2013) and has missed at least five games in three other seasons.

Last year, Smith was having an All-Pro caliber season before a lisfranc injury ended his season after eight games. In 2015, prior to this injury, Smith has been able to start all of Baltimore's games but hasn't been as effective in coverage as he normally is.

After the Ravens' first seven games in 2015, per Pro Football Focus (via Jeff Zrebiec of the Baltimore Sun), Smith allowed 446 receiving yards and four touchdowns on 33 receptions to receivers he was covering.

The Ravens have had many problems this season, due to roster changes and injuries, dropping them near the AFC cellar instead of their usual spot getting ready for the postseason.
