Liverpool Transfer News: Major Rumours on Reds' Plans Ahead of Deadline Day
Liverpool's Lazar Markovic could be heading out on loan to newly promoted Premier League side Watford.
According to talkSPORT, the Hornets "are planning a last-minute effort to hijack Lazar Markovic's proposed move to Fenerbahce from Liverpool."
The 21-year-old was signed for a staggering £20 million last summer, and he failed to impress as he scored just three goals and contributed one assist in 34 appearances last season.

The Serbian continued manager Brendan Rodgers' run of questionable dealings in the transfer market last summer, demonstrated by seemingly becoming yet another acquisition from that window to move on just 12 months later, with Rickie Lambert and Mario Balotelli having already departed Liverpool this summer either permanently or on loan.
Nevertheless, a loan deal appears a wise move for all parties, as Markovic will be afforded more first-team opportunities and allowed to continue his development away from the Anfield spotlight.
B/R's own Sam Tighe believes Watford to be a much more useful destination for the winger than Fenerbahce:
His arrival would also benefit Watford, who will need all the help they can get in order to survive in the Premier League.
According to Squawka, the winger showed his willingness to help out defensively last season, attempting 45 tackles and winning 21 of them. Further, he successfully completed 53 per cent of his attempted take-ons and created 19 chances, meaning he played a key pass every 49 minutes in the league.
Though the prospect of playing European football alongside the likes of Robin van Persie would likely appeal more than taking part in a relegation dogfight at Watford, Markovic would perhaps make more promising strides toward revitalising his Premier League career by choosing the Hornets.
One player who is heading out on loan to an English club is youngster Joe Maguire, reported by Andy Kelly of the Liverpool Echo.

The left-back has joined Leyton Orient on an initial one-month loan deal, and the 19-year-old took to Twitter to express his eagerness to feature for his new club:
The unexpectedly excellent form of new arrival Joe Gomez means Maguire would have likely found first-team opportunities hard to come by at Anfield this season, so a temporary switch will do the Englishman good.
As Kelly's report indicates, Orient have begun the season in fine fashion, winning all four of their games in League Two, so Maguire will be entering a team full of confidence and positivity.
Liverpool's future at left-back already appears highly promising thanks to Gomez, and if Maguire can benefit from a successful spell, it could get even brighter.
