Terrelle Pryor's quest to make the Cleveland Browns roster as a wide receiver hit a snag thanks to an ailing hamstring that has sidelined him heading into the regular season.

Pryor "Expected" to be Dress for Preseason Finale
Thursday, Sept. 3
The Browns announced Pryor is expected to dress for the first time this preseason.
Mary Kay Cabot of the Northeast Ohio Media Group xaid he will be limited if he's active for the contest.
"We want to see him out there. We are hopeful that he will be out there," Browns head coach Mike Pettine said on Aug. 30, per Michael Beaven of Ohio.com.
Pettine told Cabot on Aug. 26 that the team has kept Pryor limited in practice because of the hamstring issue.
"We had him on a count,'' said Pettine. "He got to his number and we shut him down, but it was good to have him out there.''
Pryor initially injured his hamstring on Aug. 4 and has only been able to practice sparingly as a result. Playing in a preseason game would be a huge boost for the 26-year-old in his quest to prove himself as an NFL wide receiver. Pryor has a long developmental road ahead of him, so not being able to participate in a game against better-than-average preseason defensive players could hurt his stock.
Cleveland has every incentive to see what Pryor can do at wideout. The team enters this season with a thin receiving corps that has Andrew Hawkins, Brian Hartline and Dwayne Bowe in the starting mix.
