Barcelona Players Wish Pedro Farewell at Final Press Conference
Barcelona players were out in force to wish Pedro farewell at a special press conference in Catalonia.
The Spanish international made a £21 million move to Chelsea on Thursday and subsequently scored on his debut in a 3-2 win against West Bromwich Albion on Sunday.
He flew back to his former club to address both the media and supporters less than 24 hours later, and it was a fitting tribute from his old teammates after more than a decade with the club.

Having arrived at Barca's famed La Masia training centre as a teenager, Pedro grew up alongside the likes of Andres Iniesta and Lionel Messi at the Camp Nou.
It's clear the move to the Premier League hasn't had an impact on his relationship with Messi. The proud parents watched their sons stealing hearts and playing together on the floor as the forward said his goodbyes. A future Barca partnership, perhaps?

Like most players to leave Barcelona in recent times, Pedro does so with a pocketful of gold and few regrets. Five La Liga titles and three Champions League winners' medals stand out among his finest moments under Pep Guardiola and Tito Vilanova.

Indeed, the opportunity to play for the Blaugrana was a dream the 28-year-old was able to fulfil, and while he's sad to leave the fans behind, he's excited for the challenges that lie ahead in the Premier League.

With both sides recognised as European heavyweights, there is every chance the two clubs could collide in the Champions League in the future. It's likely not a prospect Pedro is looking forward to.
Either way, he'll be welcomed back with open arms, and all in attendance gave the player the send-off he deserved.
