Juan Cuadrado to Juventus: Latest Loan Transfer Details, Reaction and More
Juan Cuadrado's torrid time at Chelsea has come to a temporary end with the news that the Colombian speed merchant has joined Juventus.
The Old Lady have agreed to a season-long loan for the 27-year-old attacker, who failed to make an impression at Stamford Bridge. Juventus announced the news on their official website.

According to Sky Sport Italia (h/t Football Italia), Juventus will pay Chelsea in the region of £1 million merely for the right to loan Cuadrado. A potential permanent fee has not been disclosed.
Cuadrado's stock exploded during the 2014 World Cup in Brazil, with a number of clubs interested in purchasing his services. Jose Mourinho took the player to West London in the January transfer window, but the winger failed to achieve regular first-team football.
Cuadrado played just 312 minutes in the Premier League last season, per WhoScored.com. Competing with the likes of Eden Hazard, Oscar and Willian, he regularly found himself surplus to requirements.
Adam Crafton of the Daily Mail believes Mourinho should share some of the blame:
Upon sealing his switch to Juve, Cuadrado was clearly excited to begin a fresh challenge:
"They have everything to win the Scudetto. I hope I can give [Juventus] my best, 100 [percent]," said the Colombian, per the official Champions League Twitter account.

The Premier League proved unsuitable for the player's style but his dramatic failure was nonetheless a surprise. Cuadrado was one of the most desired talents in world football, but Chelsea's excellent midfield simply didn't need a player like him.
The Old Lady is a good fit for the attacker—they are looking to add inspiration after the departure of Carlos Tevez—and Serie A is an arena Cuadrado will be happy to play in once again.
