Chelsea Transfer News: John Terry Targeted by Fenerbahce, Latest Pedro Rumours
Fenerbahce are reportedly targeting Chelsea legend John Terry in a sensational switch to the Turkish giants.
According to Sami Mokbel of the Daily Mail, Fenerbahce "will keep tabs on developments regarding the veteran defender’s future ahead of a potential Bosman swoop" with Terry entering the final year of his contract.
Further, the club "could offer Terry in the region of £2.5 million a season net to join, plus a hefty signing-on bonus."

The Chelsea captain's future has been the source of speculation after he was substituted at half-time in Sunday's defeat to Manchester City—the first time he has even been taken off by manager Jose Mourinho.
In the wake of the substitution, Sky Sports pundit Niall Quinn said: "I think it could be the start of the end for John Terry."
However, fellow pundit Graeme Souness was less convinced. He said: "I don’t think it was anything to do with Terry’s performance. John Terry is still the best centre-back out there. I think he’s trying to force the owner’s hand to go and buy John Stones."

Former footballer Gary Lineker certainly agrees with Souness' assessment of Terry's ability:
As for Terry himself, he admitted in pre-season, per BBC Sport: "I'm still here. I showed that last year. Listen, I need to do that again. I know full well that if I don't do that again then the manager will take me out the side and replace me with someone else. I'm not naive enough to think I'm irreplaceable."
The defender was ever-present for the Blues in the Premier League last season, a phenomenal achievement with Terry turning 34 midway through the campaign.
Terry's efforts helped Chelsea keep the tightest defence in the league thanks to a series of performances that belied his years.
Though he may have struggled thus far this season, so too have the majority of Chelsea's stars, so expect him to regain his place in the team, particularly if the Blues fail to land Stones or another centre-back.
As for Fenerbahce, a move to Turkey is not inconceivable based on the money involved.
However, a more likely option should he leave Stamford Bridge would be to follow in the footsteps of fellow former England stars Frank Lampard and Steven Gerrard to the United States, where he could undoubtedly enjoy a similar financial reward in a perceived easier environment.
Chelsea Muscle in on Pedro
According to Matt Law of the Telegraph, "Chelsea have made a dramatic bid to hijack Manchester United’s move for Barcelona forward Pedro."

As Law's report notes, United have been reticent to meet Pedro's £22 million release clause, giving the Blues the opportunity to try to strike a deal of their own.
As Sky Germany's Jan Aage Fjortoft reveals, Pedro is reportedly unhappy with the length of time United have spent haggling for a lower price:
Pedro's addition would give Chelsea added depth and quality in forward areas as the versatile Spaniard could operate out wide or even centrally in Diego Costa's position if needed.
However, according to Sport Witness, it seems like the 28-year-old will only consider the Red Devils:
In light of Chelsea's interest and with Pedro keen for the situation to be resolved, United should act quickly to secure the Spaniard's signature.
As for the Blues, another attacker would certainly be useful for the new campaign, but it seems they will have to look elsewhere.
