
Pittsburgh Native Meghan Klingenberg Celebrates Goal with Terrible Towel
After scoring a goal in her hometown, Meghan Klingenberg celebrated in true Pittsburgh fashion—by waving a Terrible Towel.
The United States women's national team opened up its 10-game victory tour Sunday afternoon at Heinz Field against Costa Rica. In the 56th minute, Klingenberg gave the United States a 5-0 lead with a goal off a nice cross by Tobin Heath.
To celebrate, Klingenberg ran to her teammates on the sideline, gave them high-fives and then caught a Terrible Towel from coach Jill Ellis.
