The vacant WBC lightweight title will be up for grabs tonight in Las Vegas, as Lamont Roach Jr. takes on William Zepeda.
Roach (25-1-3, 10 KOs) is riding back-to-back draws Gervonta Davis and Isaac Cruz, and will be keen to avoid any further frustration and disappointment with a decisive win. Zepeda (33-1, 27 KOs), who will be making a second bid for a world title, will have other plans, as he looks to bounce back from a tough decision loss to Shakur Stevenson.
Roach and Zepeda will not be the only fighters battling for gold in "Sin City." Earlier in the night, Raymond Muratalla (24-0, 17 KOs) will attempt to defend his IBF lightweight belt against Brazil's Robson Conceicao (21-3-1, 10 KOs). That will be preceded by two 10-rounders that will hopefully get things started with a bang.
The main card broadcast kicks off at 8:00 pm ET, and main event ring walks are expected to occur sometime after 10:30.
