In a recent "Insider Notebook" for Bleacher Report, Jake Fischer reported that Bradley Beal may be in the mix for the Miami Heat, assuming they land LeBron.

And while it's obviously been a rough few years for Beal since leaving the Washington Wizards (he only appeared in six games last season), he can still shoot.

Over his last three campaigns, Beal has averaged 17.1 points and hit 40.5 percent of his three-point attempts. If he goes to the Heat knowing his strictly a floor spacer (and maybe one who comes off the bench), he could help.

Yesterday's big snafu came courtesy of the Miami Heat's social media department, which inadvertently posted a link to a "LeBron James Introductory Press Conference" before the team later explained it was a mistake.

There was more than enough time between the error and the correction to fuel rampant speculation, though. And at the moment, Miami does have the runaway lead in prediction markets.

Perhaps that's because the Heat seem most ready to acquire the star without laying any more groundwork. There would certainly be valid questions about the team's spacing if LeBron, Giannis Antetokounmpo and Bam Adebayo were all starting, but that's an absurd trio on the raw talent front.

Fill out a starting five with Andrew Wiggins and Davion Mitchell, and you're probably talking about one of the best defensive teams in the league.

If winning a fifth title is the biggest driver of LeBron's decision, there's a strong argument for Miami.
