CC Sabathia's Son Carsten Signs Brewers Contract in Photo After 2026 MLB Draft Pick
MLB Hall of Famer CC Sabathia posted a picture on social media of his son, Carsten, signing his professional contract with the Milwaukee Brewers on Tuesday.
The Brewers drafted the younger Sabathia, a first baseman, in the 20th round of the MLB draft earlier in July. It was particularly special given that his father once pitched for the Brewers.
"I remember not wanting to leave because it was the summertime, and I was like, 'Mom, we're in Milwaukee and I never have to go to school. This is awesome. I never want to leave,'" he told Adam McCalvy of MLB.com regarding his memories of his dad's time with the Brewers. "Being real young, that's all you're thinking about. I remember going to the stadium and loving the uniforms, loving the colors, loving the slide in deep left-center. Just all of those memories that you have as a kid, those are all flooding back."
Now it's Carsten's turn to create his own memories with the Brewers' organization.
