UFC CEO Dana White credited the "Conor McGregor effect" with what is expected to be a record-breaking gate ahead of McGregor versus Holloway at UFC 329 Saturday in Las Vegas.
"The Conor McGregor effect is huge," White said in a Thursday appearance on ESPN's SportsCenter. "Our biggest gate ever was the Sphere, 22 million. This gate beat it at 25 million.

Weigh-In Results ⚖️
The previous gate record was set at UFC 306 in September 2024, an event highlighted by Sean O'Malley versus Merab Dvalishvili, per Front Office Sports' Eric Fisher.
The gate record before that was also set by a McGregor-led card as he took on Eddie Alvarez at UFC 205 in November 2016, per Fisher.
McGregor is making his return to the Octagon this weekend for the first time since suffering two knockout losses, the second of which resulted in his broken leg, to Dustin Poirier in 2021.
He is now set to make his return with his second career bout against Holloway, and his first since a unanimous decision victory in 2013.
Both fighters made weight Friday ahead of the main event, with McGregor weighing in at 170.5 pounds and Holloway hitting 170 pounds. The main card is set to start Saturday at 9 p.m. ET at T-Mobile Arena.
