UFC 329 Press Conference: Live Updates and Highlights

Tom TaylorJul 9, 2026, updated just now

Conor McGregor is set to return to the Octagon at UFC 329 this Saturday in Las Vegas, where he'll take on former featherweight champ Max Holloway in a 5-round welterweight fight. Anticipation for the fight is very high, and that's no surprise. The Irish MMA superstar has produced some of the most memorable moments we've ever seen in the Octagon, from his 2015 blitz of Jose Aldo to his 2016 beatdown of Eddie Alvarez.

Yet McGregor is also a showman outside the cage. Some of his very best moments have occurred when there's a mic in his hand—oftentimes at pre-fight press conferences.

The UFC 329 pre-fight press conference kicks of at 10:00 pm ET tonight, and while McGregor has been surprisingly quiet ahead of his comeback fight with Holloway, his fans are hoping he'll be in vintage form when he takes the stage. Of course, Holloway will be on hand too, as will co-headliners Benoit Saint Denis and Paddy Pimblett—the latter of whom has a real way with words in his own right. It should be very entertaining, and it could be downright chaotic. When McGregor is involved, you never know.

Stay with us for all the highlights from tonight's UFC 329 press conference, which you can watch below, via the UFC YouTube channel.

We Kick Off in 10 Minutes... Maybe

Conor McGregor is "Notorious" for a number of things. One of those things is showing up late to his own press conferences—sometimes significantly late.

The UFC 329 press conference is scheduled to kick off at 10:00 pm ET, about 10 minutes from now. Let's see if everything goes according to plan, or if McGregor will once again delay things by showing up fashionably late...
