Pedro Set for Emotional Barcelona Farewell in UEFA Super Cup Against Sevilla
Pedro Rodriguez's time at Barcelona looks like it is coming to an end as Manchester United close in on the winger.
However, Barcelona are trying to slow down the Canary Islander's move to Old Trafford, according to Sport.
Albert Roge explained that Pedro will be in the starting lineup for their UEFA Super Cup clash with Sevilla on Tuesday night because of Neymar's mumps problem.

That will afford the forward a farewell if his transfer goes through after that. Roge wrote in Sport:
"Neymar's bout of mumps means Barcelona will need him in the European Super Cup and the transfer may be delayed.
On Saturday there were meetings between both sides. The English team want to get Pedro as soon as possible, so he can play in the Champions League qualifiers.
Barcelona, with Neymar out, want to slow down the operation and play Pedro alongside Messi and Suarez against Seville in Tbilisi.
"

Pedro didn't look like a man who was off during the Joan Gamper Trophy clash against Roma at the Camp Nou last week.
After Barcelona's 3-0 win, he didn't wave to the crowd or collect the trophy in lieu of captain Andres Iniesta, so it's clear that he was expecting to make at least one more appearance with the club anyway, regardless of Neymar's situation.
But with the Brazilian forward stricken down and out of action for 15 days, per Sport, Pedro is likely to line up alongside Lionel Messi and Luis Suarez.
If Pedro does leave after the game with the Super Cup in his hands, it will be a fitting end to his tenure in the Catalan capital.

When he burst on to the scene under Pep Guardiola, many were stunned. Although he's rarely been able to find that form for sustained periods since, he's been an extremely useful squad player.
It's no crime that he can't get into the first team ahead of Messi, Neymar and Suarez, and it doesn't reflect poorly on his ability.
When he's played, he has looked sharp, and it will have hurt Luis Enrique to have been unable to give the forward the minutes he merited.
Sport's Lluis Miguelsanz has issued a warning to Barcelona about life after Pedro, a transfer the club would prefer not to go through with. He wrote:
"Neymar has given the first warning. FIFA's transfer embargo has left Barça in a delicate situation. And not due to a lack of signings, but rather because the squad can stay very, very thin until January, depending on the last movements in the window. Without doubt, all eyes are now on Pedro. The player wants to go because he is not going to start, but his role in the team is very important.
"

Pedro's role is so vital because whenever a gap needs filling, he takes care of it; on the left, on the right or in the middle.
Injury, suspension and fatigue are all legitimate dangers for Barcelona, and until Arda Turan is allowed to play in January, the club will be left with youngsters Munir El Haddadi and Sandro Ramirez to call on once Pedro departs.
It will be emotional for the forward, but after spending such a long time with the club, he will see this as perhaps his only chance to leave.
At 28 years old, it's now or never for Pedro to try his luck as a regular starter at a new side.
He may be foregoing the glory and trophies that staying at Barcelona would likely bring, but from a personal perspective, if he doesn't break the ties with the only team he has played for professionally, he may regret it in the future as he looks back at what might have been.
Starting for Barcelona and beating Sevilla to earn one final trophy before heading to Old Trafford would be a sweet goodbye indeed for Pedro.
