Recaps and Highlights
Ole Miss Eliminates Their SEC Rival
Ole Miss is off to the College World Series after beating Auburn 5-3 on Saturday.
Ole Miss' three-run eighth inning was the difference, highlighted by Will Furniss' two-run blast.
Judd Utermark's two-run double in the bottom of the sixth, meanwhile, pulled Ole Miss even.
It was the culmination of a stunning upset and a disappointing close to the season for No. 4 Auburn. Ole Miss took a tough road to Omaha—they are not to be underestimated.
Troy Punches its Ticket to Omaha
Led by Tommy Egan's eight strikeouts across 7.2 innings and a balanced offensive attack, Troy knocked off Little Rock 7-2 on Saturday, advancing to the College Baseball World Series.
Troy scored in five different innings and had five different players register RBI, led by two apiece from Blake Cavill and Drew Nelson. Little Rock's Jerdy Lopez provided the best moment of the day for his side, blasting a homer in the bottom of the eighth.
But it was too little, too late as Troy advanced to Omaha.
North Carolina Stays Alive
The Tar Heels kept their season alive on Saturday, beating USC 4-0 to pull even in the Super Regionals series at one game apiece.
Starting pitcher Jason DeCaro was the hero, throwing a complete game shutout with just two hits allowed, a walk and eight strikeouts. Erik Paulsen and Colin Hynek led the offense with a pair of solo homers.
The decisive Game 3 will be played on Sunday at 3 p.m. ET (ESPN).
West Virginia Puts Up a Football Score
The Mountaineers are heading to Omaha in style after annihilating Cal Poly on Saturday by a 17-1 margin.
Cal Poly actually scored the first run of the game before West Virginia responded with a touchdown in the top of the second and 10 more runs the rest of the way.
Ben Lumsden finished with a pair of dingers and five RBI as West Virginia heads to its first College Baseball World Series in school history.
Georgia Wins a Wild One
It took 16 hits and 13 runs, but Georgia notched the opening salvo in their matchup against Mississippi State, winning 13-12 on Saturday.
Michael O'Shaughnessy's three-run shot in the bottom of the eighth proved to be the game-winner in an offensive onslaught from both teams. It was his second dinger of the game, as he finished with five RBI.
Mississippi State rushed out to a 7-0 lead by the top of the fourth, though Georgia quickly established they wouldn't be going away easily, scoring five runs in the bottom of the inning.
There were plenty of fireworks to go around in this one:

Game 2 will be noon ET on Sunday (ESPN).
Oklahoma Cruises to Game 1 Win over Kansas
Oklahoma scored seven runs over the fourth and fifth innings en route to an 8-1 victory over Kansas to begin the Lawrence Super Regional.
Dayton Tockey hit a three-run homer in the fourth after Dasan Harris' RBI groundout opened the scoring.
Camden Johnson added a two-run blast in the fifth, while Trey Gambill added a monstrous solo shot later in the frame.
Brendan Brock's RBI single in the seventh made it 8-0.
Jordan Bach got Kansas on the board with a solo homer in the eighth.
Left-handed starting pitcher Cord Rager shined for Oklahoma, throwing six shutout innings and striking out six while allowing just one hit and one walk.
The two teams return to Hoglund Ballpark on Sunday at 6 p.m. ET for Game 2 of the best-of-three series.
Texas Crushes Oregon To Begin Super Regional
Texas Longhorns shortstop Adrian Rodriguez posted five RBI and starting pitcher Dylan Volantis struck out 10 over 5.1 innings to lead their team to an 11-3 victory over Oregon.
The Longhorns scored two runs apiece in the first two innings, with third baseman Casey Borba hitting a solo homer in the second.
The Longhorns later added one in the fourth, two in the fifth and three in the sixth. Texas DH Ethan Mendoza smoked a 438-foot homer for a 10-2 edge.
Elsewhere in the box score, left fielder Anthony Pack Jr. went 2-for-4 with three runs, and Texas drew eight walks as a team.
For Oregon, third baseman Drew Smith led the offense with an eighth inning solo homer and three walks.
The Longhorns will host Oregon for Game 2 on Sunday at 9 p.m. ET.
Alabama Shuts Out St. John's
Alabama starting pitcher Tyler Fay threw 7.1 shutout innings while striking out nine en route to leading the Crimson Tide to an 8-0 win over St. John's to kick off the Tuscaloosa Super Regional.
Fay only allowed two hits and three walks over his 112 pitches. Alabama left-hander Ashton Crowther threw 1.2 shutout innings to finish the two-hitter.
At the plate, Alabama scored two in the second and eighth courtesy of two-RBI doubles from Brennan Holt and Justin Lebron, respectively.
The Crimson Tide also scored four in the fourth. A pair of bases-loaded walks were sandwiched around another two-RBI double, this one courtesy of Bryce Fowler.
Alabama and St. John's will play Game 2 on Sunday at 3 p.m. ET.
