Sunday's Highlights
Notre Dame 18, Jacksonville 5
After winning back-to-back national championships in 2023 and 2024, Notre Dame is clearly motivated to return to the mountaintop.
The Fighting Irish jumped out to a 9-1 lead at halftime and never looked back. Luke Miller had a hat trick in the first half and finished with a career-high five goals, which tied the program record for the most goals in an NCAA tournament game.
Notre Dame goalie Thomas Ricciardelli pitched a shutout in the second quarter and finished with 17 saves to help secure the victory.
The Fighting Irish will meet upset-minded Johns Hopkins in the quarterfinals, and they will hope to avoid the same fate as Cornell.
