How Much Money WWE Icon The Rock Made From TKO Royalties, Reimbursements Revealed in SEC Filing
Dwyane "The Rock" Johnson earned $1.5 million in royalties and reimbursements through WWE parent company TKO Group Holdings in 2025, according to a United States Securities and Exchange Commission filing.
In the filing (h/t WrestlePurists), it was divulged that Johnson received $900,000 in royalties as part of an intellectual property (IP) agreement with TKO and $600,000 in reimbursements for "certain travel expenses associated with delivering services under the Johnson Services Agreement."
Johnson, 53, is widely regarded as one of the greatest WWE Superstars of all time in addition to being one of the most famous movie stars in the world.

While he has not made an appearance on WWE programming since early last year, Johnson remains heavily involved with the company as part of the TKO board of directors, which is a position he secured in January 2024.
Given Johnson's busy schedule thanks largely to acting commitments, it was noted in the SEC filing that he was the only TKO board member who did not attend at least 75 percent of the company's meetings in 2025.
When Johnson was last part of the on-screen WWE product, he played a role in John Cena's shocking heel turn at Elimination Chamber 2025.
Cena turned heel and attacked Cody Rhodes' at The Rock's behest, leading most to believe that The Rock would play a huge role in the build toward Rhodes vs. Cena at WrestleMania 41.
However, The Rock took a step back and left that entirely to Rhodes and Cena, much to the chagrin of the WWE Universe.
Johnson has been more focused on his behind-the-scenes role, and the SEC filing shows that it has been a lucrative endeavor for him.
