Early WWE Money in the Bank 2026 Match Card Predictions After SNME Results

On the heels of the first-ever Sunday Night's Main Event, the attention of the WWE Universe turns toward the annual Money in the Bank premium live event, held this year in New Orleans on October 10.

Based on the outcome of the Peacock presentation, here are a few matches to consider for the upcoming extravaganza.

Men's Money in the Bank Ladder Match for the Undisputed WWE Championship

What better way to spice up Money in the Bank than by taking the Superstars currently feuding over the Undisputed WWE Championship, adding a ladder and giving fans a historic first?

CM Punk has seen his title reign targeted by Sami Zayn, Kevin Owens, Finn Balor and Gunther in recent weeks. Rather than a convoluted scramble match or a far less entertaining Fatal 5-Way, what better way to bring prestige to the event than by booking a match in which the title is the ultimate prize?

Sure, that shortchanges the men, but an even bigger prize awaits the Superstar who climbs the ladder and retrieves the title.

Women's Money in the Bank Ladder Match

There are plenty of contenders who could take up places in the women's ladder match.

Stephanie Vaquer, Becky Lynch, Roxanne Perez, Raquel Rodriguez, Sol Ruca and Lyra Valkyria are a few options, and that is just the Raw side of things.

Throw in Charlotte Flair, Jade Cargill, Tiffany Stratton, a Fatal Influence member and newcomer Tatum Paxley, and you have the potential for one of the most loaded fields in event history.

With their never-ending feud, Flair and Cargill feel like shoo-ins, as does Vaquer, especially if she fails to dethrone Morgan on Monday night's Raw.

United States Championship: Trick Williams vs. Carmelo Hayes

This is probably wishful thinking, but can we please get back to Carmelo Hayes challenging for a United States Championship he never should have lost ahead of WrestleMania 42?

A proper feud with Trick Williams over the title, without interruption or the inclusion of another competitor, is just what the former NXT champion needs to heat back up after falling back into obscurity.

The question is where that leaves Baron Corbin, who was excellent at Sunday Night's Main Event, and is unlikely to suddenly wander aimlessly entering the fall months.

Women's World Championship: Becky Lynch vs. Liv Morgan

Assuming that someone of stature is going to miss out on the women's ladder match, Becky Lynch challenging Liv Morgan bolsters the star power of the show and gives the women's division another high-profile matchup.

It is also a relatively fresh contest for the show, with their last encounter occurring inside a steel cage on the May 27, 2024 episode of Raw.

That it could also serve as the latest chapter in the three-way rivalry also involving Vaquer makes it an intriguing option for Money in the Bank.

World Heavyweight Championship: LA Knight vs. Roman Reigns

LA Knight has been calling out Roman Reigns for months in search of a world title match. It feels like he is closer than ever to getting it, with a showdown in New Orleans being a great choice of location.

It is another contest to bolster a card that lives and breathes on the strength of the ladder matches anyway, so it could even get away with a screwy finish that sets up another, more important battle down the line.

Knight has earned the opportunity to rise to the occasion against the top star in the company.
