Dennis Rodman Ripped by WWE Legend for WWE Hall of Fame 2026 Induction
It's safe to say Ted DiBiase was not consulted on the decision to include Dennis Rodman in the 2026 WWE Hall of Fame class.
Appearing on the Everybody's Got a Pod show (h/t Steve Carrier of Ringside News), DiBiase strongly criticized WWE's decision to immortalize Rodman in the Hall of Fame.
"He wasn't a wrestler," DiBiase said. "You're gonna put a guy who might have been in a wrestling ring two or three times in the Hall of Fame just because of his name. Put him in the Basketball Hall of Fame where he belongs, but not the wrestling Hall of Fame."

WWE Rumors on Brock Lesnar's Retirement, Randy Orton, Cody Rhodes
The Million Dollar Man went on to explain that he feels the celebrity wing of WWE's Hall of Fame has gone too far:
"Jimmy Hart was never a wrestler. He was a great mouthpiece, and I think that is deserving. Because he put in a lot of time. But to put a guy in the wrestling Hall of Fame just because he has a celebrity name in baseball or basketball, that just irks the hell out of me. What did they really do to deserve being in a wrestling Hall of Fame? Nothing."
Rodman was announced as a WWE Hall of Famer on March 20. He will be formally inducted during the ceremony on April 17.
WWE's Hall of Fame primarily exists as an opportunity for the promotion to sell more tickets to an event during WrestleMania weekend, so it does need names to drive interest.
Rodman has a connection to one of the most popular eras of wrestling history. He joined the nWo in 1997 and remained in the group for more than a year, main eventing two pay-per-view shows as part of a tag team with Hulk Hogan.
The 1998 Bash at the Beach show in which Hogan and Rodman defeated Diamond Dallas Page and Karl Malone in the main event was the second-most purchased pay-per-view in WCW history.
WWE has Pete Rose in the Hall of Fame for showing up to several events and letting Kane give him a tombstone.
Rodman at least wrestled matches and helped generate money for one of the biggest promotions in the history of the United States.
