Basketball Hall of Famer Dennis Rodman left an indelible mark on the pro wrestling business, and he is reportedly set to be honored for his contributions next month.

According to ESPN NBA insider Shams Charania, Rodman will be inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame as part of the class of 2026.

The ceremony will take place at Dolby Live at Park MGM in Las Vegas on April 17, one night before Night 1 of WrestleMania 42.

Rodman will join Stephanie McMahon, AJ Styles and Demolition as members of this year's Hall of Fame class.

Known by nicknames such as "Rodzilla" and "The Worm," Rodman primarily made his mark on the basketball court, spending 14 seasons in the NBA with the Detroit Pistons, San Antonio Spurs, Chicago Bulls, Los Angeles Lakers and Dallas Mavericks from 1986 to 2000.

One of the greatest rebounders of all time, Rodman won seven consecutive rebounding titles from 1992 to 1998, and he won a total of five NBA championships between the Pistons and Bulls.

The two-time NBA Defensive Player of the Year and 2011 Basketball Hall of Fame inductee also dabbled in pro wrestling with WCW in the late 1990s.

Rodman joined the villainous nWo stable in 1997, and he went on to compete in three matches over the next few years.

At Bash at the Beach 1997, Lex Luger and The Giant beat Rodman and "Hollywood" Hulk Hogan in a tag team match. Most famously, Rodman and Hogan defeated Diamond Dallas Page and Rodman's fellow NBA legend Karl Malone one year later at Bash at the Beach 1998.

That match took place just one month after Rodman and the Bulls had beaten Malone and the Utah Jazz in the 1998 NBA Finals.

Rodman's final WCW match occurred at Road Wild 1999 when he lost to "Macho Man" Randy Savage in a singles bout.

He wrestled occasionally after that as well, including facing Curt Hennig on an i-Generation Superstars of Wrestling card in Australia in 2000, and appearing on Hulk Hogan's Celebrity Championship Wrestling in 2008.

Most recently, Rodman accompanied The Acclaimed to the ring for their match against Jay Lethal, Jeff Jarrett and Satnam Singh at AEW All Out 2023 in Chicago.

Now, the 64-year-old Rodman will take his place in the celebrity wing of the WWE Hall of Fame, along with other notable athletes such as Muhammad Ali, Mike Tyson, Pete Rose, William "The Refrigerator" Perry and Bob Uecker.
