WWE NXT Results, Winners, Live Grades, Reaction, Highlights Before Vengeance Day 2026

Chris MuellerMar 3, 2026

Welcome to Bleacher Report's live coverage of WWE NXT on March 3.

Saturday is Vengeance Day, but Tuesday's go-home episode still featured some championship action. Here's a look at what WWE advertised for the show:

  • Wren Sinclair vs. Nikkita Lyons
  • Shiloh Hill, Hank and Tank vs. Vanity Project
  • Jacy Jayne vs. Zaria (NXT Women's Championship)
  • Segments to hype Vengeance Day featuring Izzi Dame, Tatum Paxley, Blake Monroe, Jaida Parker and Ricky Saints
  • Let's take a look at everything that happened on Tuesday's NXT.

    Myles Borne vs. Ethan Page

    1 of 7
    NXT

Last time in action: Myles Borne defeated Ethan Page (NXT, Feb. 24)

After a recap of what happened last week, Myles Borne came to the ring to celebrate winning the North American Championship from Ethan Page.

The crowd chanted, "You deserve it!" as he started to talk about how good it feels to finally have the title on his shoulder.

He thanked the haters like Ethan Page for doubting him because they pushed him to be better. He said he is willing to do whatever it takes to keep the belt, which brought out All Ego to respond.

Page said he wanted a rematch, and Borne was up for it. Robert Stone came out and made it official. A ref showed up, the bell rang, and they started fighting in their suits.

Page ended up losing his pants when they tore in several places, but thankfully, he was wearing boxer briefs. Borne ended up using his shoe to hit Page when the ref wasn't looking, which opened the door for his finisher to get a quick win.

Borne's promo was short and sweet, and getting right into an impromptu title bout was definitely an interesting way to start the show. These two work so well together, so it's not surprising that WWE put them back in the ring so fast.

This might not have been as good as their showdown last week, but it was an entertaining way to get the show going.

    Result: Borne defeated Page

    Grade: B

    Notable Moments and Observations

  • Page running through his accomplishments was a reminder of how successful he has actually been in NXT. A lot of people wrote him off as an AEW castoff, but he has been one of the best parts of the brand since he arrived.
  • It must be weird to wrestle in nice shoes that have very little grip.
  • Page hit a really nice scoop powerslam during the break.
  • The picture-in-picture replay box was kept on the screen for several seconds after a replay was over.
  • Jaida Parker and Blake Monroe Speak

    2 of 7
    NXT

Blake Monroe was out after the break for a promo before Jaida Parker joined her for the scheduled face-to-face. Monroe said Parker needs her because it brings more spotlight to her.

As expected, the crowd gave Parker a warm welcome when she came out. She said Monroe thinks wrestling revolves around her, but she is really just insecure.

Parker ended up pushing Monroe until she snapped and attacked her, but Ms. Parker sent her out of the ring with relative ease.

There wasn't much to this segment, but that is actually a good thing. This feud is simple and this segment did everything it needed to do in just a few minutes.

    Grade: B

    Notable Moments and Observations

  • It's going to be interesting to see how Monroe does as a babyface eventually. She's comfortable as a heel, but it might be hard to get the crowd on her side.
  • Ricky Saints had a backstage segment with Page and Vanity Project.
  • Wren Sinclair vs. Nikkita Lyons

    3 of 7
    NXT

Last time in action: Nikkita Lyons lost to Parker (NXT, Feb. 21), Wren Sinclair lost a tag match to ZaRuca (NXT, Feb. 10)

The next bout was a Speed Tournament match between Nikkita Lyons and Wren Sinclair. As usual, Kendal Grey was in her WrenQCC partner's corner.

They got right into the action and traded some strikes. Lyons gained the upper hand for a few moments, but Sinclair stayed on her and used her speed to keep her on her toes.

The biggest issue with these Speed matches is that the Superstars are in such a rush that some moves end up looking bad, or worse, not even connecting.

Both women brought a lot of energy to the ring, but the match itself was relatively forgettable. Sinclair scored a submission win with just seconds to spare.

    Result: Sinclair defeated Lyons

    Grade: C

    Notable Moments and Observations

  • Jasper Troy had a backstage segment where he challenged Elio LeFleur to a rematch for the Speed title he lost last week.
  • Sinclair applied the Cattle Mutilation pretty seamlessly.

    Friends Turned Enemies

    4 of 7
    NXT

After a break, Tatum Paxley and Izzi Dame had one final segment before Saturday's Vengeance Day showdown.

This was a heavily produced backstage segment. It had mood music, several camera cuts and a dollhouse set up for Paxley.

While both of them did fine with the material they were given, this segment felt unnecessary. No new ground was tread, and it felt exactly like exchanges they have had before.

On the plus side, both women have developed into charismatic personalities. They just weren't given any interesting material to work with this week.

    Grade: C

    Notable Moments and Observations

  • Joe Hendry had a backstage segment with Borne and congratulated him on winning the NA title.
  • Shayna Baszler appeared in a segment with Kelani Jordan as her trainer.
  • Shiloh Hill, Hank and Tank vs. Vanity Project

    5 of 7
    NXT

Last time in action: The Vanity Project defeated Hank and Tank (NXT, Feb. 17)

Brad Baylor, Ricky Smokes and Jackson Drake attacked Hank, Tank and Shiloh Hill during their entrance to get an early advantage in this six-man tag match.

The babyfaces gained control after a break, but not for long. The Vanity Project did a good job isolating opponents in their corner.

During the match, Keanu Carver showed up and threatened the announcers for some reason.

Hill meshed well with Hank and Tank, but it felt like the two big men in this match sold a little too much for their smaller opponents. The match should still be competitive, but Hank and Tank should work more like powerhouses, especially against guys this small.

They got a long time to work, so this match had a lot of action across a few segments. Everyone got a chance to shine, but it felt like this was designed for Hill to be the standout.

He ended up scoring the win for his team by pinning Drake. After the match, Monroe appeared on the announce table wearing different clothes. She challenged Parker to a street fight at Vengeance Day before Jaida came out and they started brawling.

Result: Hank, Tank and Hill defeated Vanity Project

    Grade: B-

    Notable Moments and Observations

  • Baylor and Smokes almost look too young to be allowed to wrestle.
  • Vic Joseph referred to Smokes as a super senior, which was actually kind of funny since Evolve feels like high school and NXT feels like college.
  • The Vanity Project used the steel steps in a pretty creative way to trap Tank.
  • Drake showed some impressive power getting Hank up on his shoulders and spinning him around.
  • Jacy Jayne vs. Zaria

    6 of 7
    NXT

Last time in action: Jayne defeated Sol Ruca (NXT, Feb. 24), ZaRuca defeated WrenQCC (NXT, Feb. 10)

Osiris Griffin was found backstage having been attacked by Tony D'Angelo. This led to Dion Lennox going to the ring to call him out for a fight.

Tony D addressed him from the stands and said DarkState tried to end his career, but all they did was make him more dangerous. Lennox said he would be waiting for Tony in the parking lot on Saturday.

After the break, we got the women's title match between Jacy Jayne and Zaria. Zaria didn't have anyone in her corner, so Fallon Henley and Lainey Reid gave the champion an advantage.

Jayne tried to get the upper hand early, but the powerhouse cornered her and beat her down until the ref forced her to back up.

The champ used her friends and some dirty tactics to keep herself in the fight, but Zaria kept finding ways to regain control.

This was a pretty competitive match, but the outcome was too easy to see coming. With both women being heels now, the crowd didn't seem to have a favorite.

Sol Ruca showed up and hit the Sol Snatcher to both women at once to cause the ref to call off the match.

    Result: No Contest

    Grade: B

    Notable Moments and Observations

  • It was nice of Lennox to wait patiently in the ring until after the break so he could call out Tony D on TV.
  • Using the 2K26 entrances for some Superstars is a nice touch, but Zaria's video game model looked different. It was a weird uncanny valley kind of thing.
  • Zaria rolled to sell a hurricanrana, but Jayne had already released her legs, so it looked like she rolled a little too late.
  • The Final Word

    7 of 7

The show ended with Saints holding a concert just like Joe Hendry, but he clearly didn't know how to play the guitar. He kept finding excuses not to continue his song. Hendry showed up and hit him with a guitar to end the show.

As the go-home show before Vengeance Day this weekend, Tuesday's show did a decent job of hyping all of the matches while also featuring some fun action on the show.

Borne and Page's surprise title fight was the biggest highlight of the night, but Zaria and Jayne were also having a good showing before Ruca showed up to interfere.

The black and gold brand has been very hot and cold in recent months, but it feels like the show has settled back into a regular pattern again.
