From the Chesapeake Employers Insurance Arena in Baltimore, Maryland on August 19, All Elite Wrestling presented the final Dynamite before heading overseas.

Will Ospreay and Kenny Omega battled The Don Callis Family in separate trios matches. Maya World defended the TBS Championship against Hikaru Shida, Kris Statlander and Persephone.

The Continental Challenge Cup continued with Jon Moxley vs. "Switchblade" Jay White and Nigel McGuinness vs. Hechicero.

Elsewhere on the show, Renee Paquette sat down with Kenny Omega and Will Ospreay, as well as Willow Nightingale and Mercedes Moné, ahead of their respective singles world title matches at All In.

Check out all the results including winners, grades and highlights for Dynamite below.

Will Ospreay, Francesco Akira and HENARE vs. Brian Cage, Lance Archer and Rocky Romero

Will Ospreay, Francesco Akira and HENARE vs. Brian Cage, Rocky Romero and Lance Archer

Last Time in Action: Will Ospreay, Francesco Akira and HENARE alongside Callum Newman defeated The Death Riders (Dynamite, April 8). This was the first time Brian Cage, Lance Archer and Rocky Romero represented The Don Callis Family as a trio.

United Empire started with a strong pace set by the leadership of The Aerial Assassin including HENARE matching the power of Archer with his strikes.

The Murderhawk Monster fought back and laid out all three babyfaces into the commercial break.

The Don Callis Family kept control back from break until HENARE laid out Cage with a German Suplex and got the hot tag to Ospreay.

The Aerial Assassin teamed up with Akira for a Cutter on Rocky. HENARE and Akira then dived onto Archer and Cage outside while Ospreay hit Rocky with a Hidden Blade to win.

This was a fun opener, even if the result was blatantly obvious including the exact man that was always taking that Hidden Blade at the end.

The best part of the match was simply another opportunity for Akira and HENARE to show off, and they should appear more in AEW as their schedules allow.

The Aerial Assassin picked up some momentum and avoided taking any rough bumps along the way.

The real story for Ospreay just two Dynamites before All In was likely to play out later in the night.

Result

Ospreay, Akira and HENARE def. Rocky, Archer and Cage by pinfall.

Notable Moments and Observations

  • Excalibur ran down the card to start the show but seemed to get confused with what was starting, teasing The Elite before Ospreay arrived.
  • The excitement of Akira and HENARE is infectious. Both sold how much it meant to them to be working this match.
  • Callis and ICE got equal hate from the loud Baltimore crowd.
  • After the win, Opreay mouthed to the camera that Callum Newman needed to pick up his phone.

Konosuke Takeshita Returns to Lay Out Kyle Fletcher

2 of 3

Backstage, Kazuchika Okada spoke with Renee Paquette and explained that Kyle Fletcher should be ready to raise his hand if he wins at All In.

The Protostar spoke with Tony Schiavone in the ring. Fletcher reminded Okada that what was best for The Family was keeping the gold on him.

As The Protostar turned to calling Konosuke Takeshita a coward, The Alpha arrived to lay Fletcher out and stand tall with the International Championship.

It is good to have Takeshita back after a great run in the G1 Climax for New Japan Pro-Wrestling, and this story is starting to heat up.

At this stage, Fletcher vs. Okada vs. Takeshita does not need any more build to steal the show at All In, but it would be nice to have a big face-off between the three before they fight in Wembley Stadium.

This angle has so much potential, and it is hard to call if Fletcher and Okada can stay on the same page when it matters most.

The Rainmaker is always a menace, but is The Protostar ready to turn face? It may be too soon for that.

Notable Moments and Observations

  • Commentary clarified that Callis was on vacation despite all this in-fighting between his family members.
  • Takeshita and Fletcher moved smoothly through their back-and-forth in full street clothes,

Kenny Omega and Will Ospreay Sit Down with Renee Paquette

Kenny Omega Will Ospreay AEW
Kenny Omega and Will Ospreay sat down with Renee Paquette

Renee Paquette sat down with Kenny Omega and Will Ospreay. They talked about their history, dating back to their shared New Japan Pro-Wrestling history.

The Cleaner questioned The Aerial Assassin's ability to deliver when the lights are brightest.

Ospreay talked up why All In was more important to him than any other moment in his career.

As The Aerial Assassin grew more emotional, The Cleaner played on his emotions, teasing him about how hard it would be on his family (especially his son) if Ospreay lost.

Ospreay and Omega have made the most of their mic time together so far, and this was no different.

In particular, this was the best The Cleaner has sold why fans should hate him when the two collide at All In.

His cocky attitude throughout made clear that Omega is done treating Ospreay as a friend after all they have been through.

This went long for a pre-taped segment in front of a live audience, but it certainly sold more reasons to buy into All In's biggest match.

With one week to go, next week should be the moment Omega and Ospreay get physical.

Notable Moments and Observations

  • Omega was nasty at moment when talking to Ospreay, clearly playing more heel despite likely staying babyface after Wembley.
  • The two argued over their experiences with COVID-19, which was interesting since so many avoid ever talking about the pandemic era.
