All the Reasons Why The Vision Can Turn Into WWE's New Bloodline Saga in 2026

Chris RolingJan 3, 2026

WWE programming has had a bit of a void since Roman Reigns' Bloodline saga fizzled out.

The Vision might own 2026 by stepping into that space, though.

WWE tried some offshoots around Solo Sikoa and used the Bloodline aftermath to launch Jey Uso to solo-star status, sure. But the void has been impossible to ignore because, for all of the complaints from the internet at time, the saga showed off just how good storytelling can be in the pro wrestling medium.

And here comes Seth Rollins and the Vision saga.

Paul Heyman is there, which is a huge boon in and of itself. He's an all-timer of a manager and mic worker, so anything he graces has the potential to pop off big.

This budding Vision saga has already proven flexible, too. When Rollins went down with an injury and left programming, WWE sort of shrugged its shoulders and threw Bron Breakker to the wolves early.

Breakker was always destined for company-headlining stardom, no doubt. But he's getting more comfortable by the week and crushing it in solo mic performances, to the point one can even notice a veteran like CM Punk being unable to hold back smiles during promo exchanges:

That Breakker-breaking-out-early factor already gives this Vision saga a boost in sheer fan rooting interest. No matter what he does, no matter how "bad" he's supposed to be, fans are going to be in his corner in this blurred-lines era.

Ditto for Rollins, who has been the perfect modern-era, blurred-lines wrestler for a long time. Another injury as his body deals with the wear and tear will have fans in his corner, too.

And that's just focusing on two of the five members.

There's also Logan Paul. Love him or hate him, those wrestling fans who deny his in-ring ability aren't worth the time of day. He's been transcendent for someone so inexperienced, single-handedly putting to bed narratives about outsiders coming in and slacking off. He's better in the ring than 80 percent of the locker room, at a guess.

Paul's also easy to dislike for a variety of reasons, which helps fan investment in whatever he does.

Bronson Reed has had some major pins in his career already, and he does some unique things for a monster-type in the ring, too. And the Austin Theory-Masked Man angle is, if nothing else, keeping things interesting by the week because it's hard to see where WWE is really going with it.

For both Reed and even Theory, there's a level of fan investment. Especially Theory, who isn't even 30 years old yet and has some really meta-level "failures" to date that will undoubtedly come up in the upcoming storytelling around Vision.

And the overarching storytelling opportunities are endless. What happens when Rollins returns? What is Heyman plotting? Is there an angle where Becky Lynch gets involved? Is this a slingshot to long-term solo plans for Theory and not just Breakker?

The questions go on and on, which is what makes it so compelling on a weekly basis. And it's saying something that it has managed to capture this much attention when its biggest Superstar and focal point, Seth Rollins, has been out injured.

One could argue that there is even more potential with Vision compared to Bloodline. Reigns was the bona fide star of his stable. He was a surprisingly good actor, going from the stale "big dog" Reigns of a bygone era to somebody gaslighting his own family and nailing even little mannerisms.

Heyman was there, sure. But there wasn't much else around him. Vision has a Reigns equivalent with Rollins, while Paul can get meta and has main-event experience. Breakker's coming into his own in this regard, too, with Theory already having major programs under his belt with the likes of John Cena.

Vision is more composed of main-event level (or future main-event level) talents, compared to Rollins mostly surrounded by former tag guys or unknowns, minus the parts of the saga with the likes of Sami Zayn.

It's a high bar to match or even surpass Bloodline, of course, but Vision isn't lacking for talent. And it's clear WWE higher-ups, Triple H and everyone involved are ready to throw massive resources behind the effort.

But the upside and fan interest is there, even while Rollnis has been out and possible links like Lynch have yet to unfold.

It certainly makes the mind wander about just how high Vision could climb in 2026. WWE has spent a long time searching for a Bloodline saga-level thing.

Barring a shocker, Vision is ready to assume that role.
