Furman 1, Portland 0

The first quarterfinal match was a defensive battle, as both teams were scoreless at the end of the first half.

Furman finally broke the tie in the 74th minute, as Braden Durham recorded an impressive goal from just past midfield.

Redshirt freshman goalkeeper Ivan Horvat recorded nine saves for the Paladins in the victory.

Washington 3, Maryland 1

Maryland opened Saturday's match on a high note, taking a 1-0 lead following a goal from Henry Bernstein in the 19th minute.

The Huskies eventually tied the game in the 38th minute after Osato Enabulele scored on a corner before taking control in the second half.

Washington found the back of the net twice with goals from Charlie Kosakoff and Alex Hall, with Hall recording his fifth goal of the season.

Saint Louis 3, Akron 2

Akron similarly started off strong, as sophomore Jack Roman and junior Matt Dreas scored to give the school an early 2-0 edge.

An own goal in the 50th minute allowed Saint Louis to pull to within striking distance, while Akron was forced to play with a man down following a red card in the 62nd minute.

The Zips' defense couldn't hold up while missing a player, as a penalty kick from Quinten Blair tied the match before Tanner Anderson scored in the 87th minute to take the lead.

NC State 3, Georgetown 2

The final match of the quarterfinals featured plenty of early action, as all five goals were scored before halftime.

Taig Healy opened the scoring for NC State with a left-footed finish in the sixth minute before a penalty kick from Drew Lovelace gave the Wolfpack a 2-0 lead in the eighth minute.

Georgetown got on the board in the 34th minute, but another penalty kick by Carlos Santamaria resulted in a 3-1 advantage for NC State. The Hoyas scored again just one minute later, but ultimately weren't able to tie the contest during the second half.
