Speed was walked through the basics of pro wrestling, including running the ropes, taking bumps and locking up.
The physicality of wrestling took a toll on Speed, as he admitted to getting bruised up due to the ropes and some of the hits he took at the hands of Sheamus and Borne.
Speed also got the chance to show off his athleticism and high-flying ability by learning how to properly do a moonsault and crossbody with trainer Lince Dorado.
Prior to his match against Luke, Speed got in the ring with Orton and learned some of the intricacies of wrestling, including selling, and The Viper tested his toughness by hitting him across the back with a steel chair.
At the conclusion of the video, Speed had a match against Luke in front of a live audience at the WWE Performance Center, and Luke was victorious.
Despite the defeat, Speed earned Orton's stamp of approval, as the 14-time world champion told Speed that he has what it takes to be a WWE Superstar.
While the bout with Luke marked the first one-on-one match Speed ever had, it wasn't his first foray into wrestling.
At Royal Rumble 2025 back in January, WWE head of creative Triple H threw Speed into the proverbial fire by having him replace the injured Akira Tozawa in the men's Royal Rumble match.
Speed helped Bron Breakker eliminate Otis, but he got a quick dose of reality when Breakker hit him with a devastating spear and threw him out of the ring with a press slam.
However, by doing some proper training at the WWE PC and impressing Orton, Speed showed that he may have a legitimate future in wrestling if he wants to pursue it.
