David Benavidez vs. Yarde Odds, Live Stream and KO, Judges' Scorecards Predictions
David Benavidez will put his WBC light heavyweight title on the line against Anthony Yarde in the headline fight for The Ring IV: Night of Champions in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
The card features four world title fights, but it is Benavidez who anchors the card. He might have his eyes set on the undisputed title, but that road begins with a successful title defense against a dangerous opponent on Saturday night.
For Benavidez, it's a chance to assert his dominance in the division and set up a title unifier against Dmitry Bivol. For Yarde, it's a chance to finally break through in a world title fight after going 0-2 earlier in his career.
Let's take a look at the fight particulars with a preview and prediction for the bout.

David Benavidez's choice to give up on chasing a Canelo Alvarez matchup at 168 pounds and embrace the move to 175 has led to a world title. However, there's still a level he has yet to reach within the division.
The likes of Dmitry Bivol and Artur Beterbiev are still considered to be the cream of the 175-pound crop. The WBC champ is encroaching on their territory, but he hasn't had the breakout performance to put him on that level.
His performance against David Morrell was close. There were some early back-and-forth exchanges and a slip up late in the fight, but he otherwise dominated a worthy opponent.
A bout against Yarde gives him another chance at domination and a finish.
"I'm looking to dominate," Benavidez said, per Steve Muehlhausen of DAZN. "But whatever happens, I'm ready for whatever. If it's gonna turn into a war, then I'm going to turn into a war. But I'm definitely going to dominate."
Yarde might be a big underdog, but he has been in this spot before. He came up short against Sergey Kovalev in 2019 and was turned away by Beterbiev again in 2023. He believes the experience has set him up for success in his third attempt at a title.
"The main difference between the me that fought Beterbiev and Kovalev and now is experience. If I fought Beterbiev again, I feel I would beat him. Fighting him helped make me a better fighter, no doubt," he told Nick Parkinson of ESPN.
Yarde is now 34 and fighting for the 31st time in his career. He's running out of opportunities at this scale. He'll have to find a way to wade through Benavidez's high-volume attack, but he always has a puncher's chance.
The London-native has picked up 24 of his 27 wins by knockout, but he faces a tall task to pull off the upset in this one.
