Belichick's UNC culture ripped by player
He rushed for 1,372 yards on 199 attempts, scoring 18 touchdowns. Love averaged 6.9 yards per carry, surpassing 1,100 yards on the ground for a second consecutive season.
He also factored into Notre Dame's passing attack, catching 27 passes for 280 yards and three scores.
Love will generate plenty of interest throughout the pre-draft process, as he was listed as the No. 1 running back and No. 5 overall player in the 2026 draft class on the Nov. 19 big board from Bleacher Report's NFL Scouting Department.
B/R NFL Scout Dame Parson highlighted Love's speed and pass-catching abilities in his scouting report.
"Love is a dynamic and explosive running back who possesses the skill set to be a complete weapon in an NFL offense," Parson wrote. "He combines home-run top-end speed with route-running and pass-catching ability to impact the offense in multiple ways."
It's easy to see him fitting into a variety of NFL offenses, as Dane Brugler and Nick Baumgardner of The Athletic listed the New York Giants, New York Jets, Arizona Cardinals, Houston Texans and Tennessee Titans as potential landing spots for Love.
The 2026 NFL draft will begin on April 23.
