B/R Pound-for-Pound Boxing Rankings for November 2025
The more things change, the more they stay the same.
The top end of B/R's pound-for-pound boxing rankings has been the playpen of Naoya Inoue, Oleksandr Usyk and Terence Crawford for the last several months, but the lower rungs of the ladder seem perpetually up for grabs.
The B/R combat staff has come together to put together the latest top-10 list as the calendar flips toward the holiday season.
Recent performances and career accomplishment were among the factors considered, and counsel from other respected sources—The Ring, Boxing Scene, etc.—was sought out and included as well.
Take a look at what we came up with and drop a thought in the app comments.
10. Jaron Ennis
1 of 10
Weight Class: 154 pounds
Major Titles Held: None
It's a warm welcome to the lower tier of the upper echelon for Ennis, a 28-year-old Philadelphian who reigned at 147 pounds after Terence Crawford moved up and is now following "Bud's" path to 154 as he seeks his own big match with Vergil Ortiz.
9. Shakur Stevenson
2 of 10
Weight Class: 135 pounds
Major Titles Held: WBC
A three-division champ who's made three successful defenses of his WBC belt at lightweight, Stevenson is another who's pursuing a career-defining fight, and it's rumored to be in the works at 140 with WBO titleholder Teofimo Lopez.
8. David Benavidez
3 of 10
Weight Class: 175 pounds
Major Titles Held: WBC
The "Mexican Monster" has finally turned the page on his pursuit of Canelo Alvarez and taken his act to light heavyweight, where he was elevated into the WBC's full-fledged belt and will defend this month against Anthony Yarde.
7. Canelo Alvarez
4 of 10
Weight Class: 168 pounds
Major Titles Held: None
It's a rare rebuild for the cinnamon-haired Mexican superstar, who suffered just the third loss in a 68-fight career against Terence Crawford in September. Will it be a rematch, another move to 175 or perhaps a jaunt to cruiserweight?
6. Junto Nakatani
5 of 10
Weight Class: 122 pounds
Major Titles Held: None
Belts are important, but the pursuit of a big fight is more vital for the unbeaten Nakatani, who gave up a two-title claim at bantamweight to move to 122 and chase a national showdown with fellow Japanese star Naoya Inoue.
5. Jesse Rodriguez
6 of 10
Weight Class: 115 pounds
Major Titles Held: WBC/WBO
Speaking of big fights, Jesse Rodriguez would like to secure one of his own and had been hoping it would be with Nakatani. But the 25-year-old Texan is not without options and will try to add a third belt against WBA champ Fernando Martinez on Nov. 22.
4. Dmitry Bivol
7 of 10
Weight Class: 175 pounds
Major Titles Held: IBF/WBA/WBO
It was an abbreviated 2025 for Bivol, who became undisputed at 175 after defeating generational rival Artur Beterbiev in February. A trilogy fight was in the works, but the 34-year-old chose surgery to address a lingering back issue.
3. Naoya Inoue
8 of 10
Weight Class: 122 pounds
Major Titles Held: IBF/WBA/WBC/WBO
The first of a trio of undisputed elites atop the sport, Inoue has earned his "Monster" label with 27 KOs in 31 straight wins and may be close to getting a career-defining rival if he gets past No. 2 WBC contender Alan Picasso.
2. Oleksandr Usyk
9 of 10
Weight Class: Heavyweight
Major Titles Held: IBF/WBA/WBC/WBO
Now 38, Usyk has done everything asked in two divisions and is climbing all-time lists at heavyweight after five straight title defenses. As for what's next, he reversed imminent retirement course and said he'd stick around until age 41.
1. Terence Crawford
10 of 10
Weight Class: 168 pounds
Major Titles Held: IBF/WBA/WBC/WBO
Just more than two years after a definer at welterweight against Errol Spence Jr., Crawford passed the biggest test of his career by climbing to 168 pounds to school Canelo Alvarez in September. A drop to 160 could yield title No. 5.
