
John Cena Reveals Historic Tournament Bracket Format, Schedule for Final WWE Opponent
John Cena's final WWE opponent will be determined by a 16-man tournament.
Cena announced the upcoming "Last Time is Now" tournament, which is slated to begin Nov. 10, on the Saturday Night's Main Event broadcast.
The tournament will feature Raw, SmackDown and NXT fighters as well as some "who don't even work here," Cena said.

Cena's final match is set to take place at SNME in Washington, D.C. on Dec. 13.
The tournament will begin a week from next Monday at Monday Night Raw at TD Garden in Boston.
The competition will also be part of Friday Night SmackDown at MVP Arena in Albany four days later.
Cena said in the announcement voiceover the lineup will feature "stars with whom I have a storied history, but even more from the generation of talent that I've never gone one-on-one with in my life."
"On my last day, I want to face whoever is willing to step up and seize the same kind of opportunity I was given on my first day," Cena said.
Triple H called the tournament a "hell of an opportunity to be a part of history" in a Saturday night post on X.
Cena's "The Last Time is Now" farewell tour kicked off Jan. 6 in Los Angeles during Netflix's first broadcast of Monday Night Raw.
He participated in his final WrestleMania in April, when he defeated Cody Rhodes to claim his record 17th WWE championship at WrestleMania 41 at Las Vegas' Allegiant Stadium.
Cena most recently made an appearance at WWE Crown Jewel 2025, when he defeated AJ Styles in Perth, Australia.
WWE fans are now just two weeks away from finding out who he will be fighting in his final match.
The episode WWE Raw featuring the beginning of "The Last Time is Now" tournament is set to air on Netflix starting at 8 p.m. ET on Nov. 10.
