WWE reportedly already has a good idea of who it wants to compete in the men's and women's WarGames matches at Survivor Series next month.

According to Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter (h/t Felix Upton of Ringside News), the current lineup for the men's WarGames match is expected to be Roman Reigns, CM Punk, Jacob Fatu, Jey Uso and either Jimmy Uso or LA Knight against Seth Rollins, Bron Breakker, Bronson Reed, Brock Lesnar and Austin Theory.

On the women's side, the match is reportedly expected to be AJ Lee, Rhea Ripley, Iyo Sky, Charlotte Flair and Alexa Bliss against Becky Lynch, Asuka, Kairi Sane, Nia Jax and Lash Legend.

In the men's match, it comes as little surprise that the overall theme is The Vision against their top rivals.

Rollins, Breakker and Reed are arguably the top stable in WWE, and Lesnar has been back in Paul Heyman's good graces since returning to WWE at SummerSlam.

Reigns, Punk, The Usos and Knight have all had their issues with Rollins and his group, and while Fatu hasn't, his inclusion could be a case of wanting to help family in the form of Reigns and The Usos.

The one unexpected name is Theory, who has not wrestled since July due to an injury. If Theory is part of The Vision's team in WarGames, it suggests plans are potentially in place for him to join the group, possibly even as soon as Crown Jewel on Saturday if he lends a helping hand to Rollins against Cody Rhodes.

Meltzer's reported women's WarGames match would continue the rivalries of Lee vs. Lynch and The Kabuki Warriors against Ripley and Sky.

There is also one surprising name in that lineup in the form of Legend, who is currently still part of the NXT roster.

Legend and Jax had a short feud and a match in NXT, so perhaps there are plans for them to join forces out of mutual respect and go after Flair and Bliss' WWE Women's Tag Team Championships, which would explain the four of them being part of WarGames.

Punk vs. Rollins Reportedly Planned for SNME

The next chapter in the rivalry between Punk and Rollins is reportedly set to be written next month.

According to Meltzer (h/t Upton), Punk and Rollins are scheduled to face off on the Nov. 1 edition of Saturday Night's Main Event, presumably in a World Heavyweight Championship match.

Ever since Punk returned to WWE in November 2023, he and Rollins have been at odds, and it has led to multiple matches between them.

At SummerSlam in August, Punk beat Gunther to win the world heavyweight title, only for Rollins to reveal he was faking a knee injury before attacking Punk and successfully cashing in his Money in the Bank contract to take the world title.

Punk got some revenge last month when he and his wife, AJ Lee, beat Rollins and his wife, Becky Lynch, in a mixed tag team match at Wrestlepalooza.

Recently, Punk has been stressing the importance of getting another world title shot, but LA Knight and Jey Uso have also attempted to stake their claim.

If Punk vs. Rollins is in the cards for SNME, perhaps a No. 1 contendership match between Punk, Knight and Uso with Punk winning could be in the works between now and then.

Regardless of how WWE gets to it, there will undoubtedly be a ton of excitement for Punk vs. Rollins, and it figures to further set the stage for WarGames at Survivor Series.

McIntyre, Sheamus Reportedly Request Theme Changes

Amid some recent changes to WWE theme songs, two notable Superstars have reportedly made a push to go back to their old themes.

According to WrestleVotes, "several" Superstars have requested to get their past theme music back with Drew McIntyre and Sheamus being among the most vocal advocates for the changes.

During Friday night's episode of SmackDown, which took place and aired live in Australia, Shinsuke Nakamura and The Street Profits both went back to their old themes, which were first popularized in NXT.

That came a couple of weeks after Johnny Gargano and Tommaso Ciampa were also allowed to use their old NXT themes at NXT Homecoming.

McIntyre and Sheamus had two of the most popular theme songs of the past couple of decades in WWE in the form of "Broken Dreams" and "Written In My Face," respectively.

With the exception of the start of "Broken Dreams" playing prior to his current theme song for his WWE Championship match against Reigns in 2022, McIntyre has not used "Broken Dreams" since returning to WWE in 2017.

As for Sheamus, he reverted back to "Written In My Face" for a period of time last year after returning from injury, but WWE switched back to his current theme without explanation.

If SmackDown is any indication, WWE is seemingly more open to Superstars using their preferred theme songs from the past, which could be a positive sign for McIntyre, Sheamus and others.
