Solo Sikoa Beats Jacob Fatu to Retain WWE US Title in a Steel Cage Match at SummerSlam
Solo Sikoa defeated Jacob Fatu in a steel cage match on Night 2 of WWE SummerSlam on Sunday to retain the United States Championship.
The MFT made its presence felt throughout the contest, with the finish coming when Talla Tonga kicked the cage door into Fatu's head and allowed Sikoa to slip out for the win.
Tonga had handcuffed Fatu to the cage earlier in the bout, allowing the group to beat up on The Tribal Wolf. Jimmy Uso finally came out to help out his cousin.

Despite the loss, Fatu got the last laugh in spectacular fashion with a moonsault off the top of the cage that took out JC Mateo and Tama Tonga.
Sikoa brought Fatu to WWE as part of his new Bloodline stable last year, and while Fatu was Solo's fiercest supporter and protector for months, things soured after Fatu beat LA Knight for the U.S. title at WrestleMania 41.
The Samoan Werewolf was seemingly growing tired of Sikoa presenting himself as the leader, and Solo didn't do himself any favors at Backlash when he made a huge decision without consulting Fatu.
Mateo made his WWE debut at Backlash by helping Fatu retain the U.S. title in a Fatal 4-Way against Knight, Drew McIntyre and Damian Priest. While Fatu was victorious, he clearly didn't appreciate Solo bringing Mateo in without telling him first.
Sikoa went on to qualify for the men's Money in the Bank ladder match, and when Fatu and Mateo showed up to wreck shop during the match, it looked like Solo was about to secure the contract.
However, Fatu turned on Sikoa by preventing him from climbing the ladder, telling him that he hated him before taking him out and costing Solo the match.
In an effort to get revenge on Fatu, Sikoa challenged for the United States Championship at Night of Champions, but it was far from a one-on-one encounter.
Mateo got involved, as did the returning Tonga Loa, but that wasn't all. Talla Tonga made his debut by preventing Fatu from getting the pinfall victory, and Sikoa took advantage by hitting Fatu with the Samoan Spike to win the title.
Coming out of Night of Champions, Fatu pinned Sikoa during a tag team match that saw Fatu and Jimmy Uso beat Sikoa and Mateo. Fatu got put through a table afterward, but he returned at Saturday Night's Main Event to save Jimmy from an MFT attack.
In an attempt to prevent outside interference, Sikoa and Fatu were booked in a steel cage match for SummerSlam, but Solo emerged victorious and retained the United States Championship in the process.
