While Ozzy is best remembered as one of the most prodigious stars in the history of rock music, he also had links to the world of pro wrestling.
At WrestleMania 2, Ozzy and "Captain" Lou Albano were in the corner of The British Bulldogs, who defeated The Dream Team in Chicago to become the new WWE tag team champions.
He also made several more appearances on WWE programming in the years that followed, including serving as the guest host of Raw along with his wife, Sharon Osbourne, in 2009.
In more recent years, Ozzy's hit song War Pigs has been the theme for the NXT TakeOver: WarGames and Survivor Series: WarGames premium live events.
To celebrate Ozzy's contributions to WWE and professional wrestling as a whole, he was chosen as a celebrity inductee into the WWE Hall of Fame in 2021.
