From a first-ever location in Salt Lake City, X Games showed up and showed out for its 30th anniversary celebration.

Over three days of action under the scorching Utah sun, the world's best action sports athletes made history over and over again. From first-time gold medalists to multiple never-been-done tricks to rookies landing on the podium, it was one for the books.

And X Games legends, from Tony Hawk to Ryan Sheckler to Travis Pastrana and many more, were on hand to see it all go down.

Here are the results of every skateboard, BMX and Moto X competition at X Games Salt Lake City 2025, as well as highlights of the best tricks from the weekend.

Australia's Rob Adelberg took gold in Moto X Best Trick on Friday with a frontflip seatgrab stripper flip

X Games Salt Lake City kicked off Friday with four events: Women's Skateboard Park, BMX Street, Men's Skateboard Vert and Moto X Best Trick.

Friday's action was bookended by young athletes earning their first-ever X Games gold medals and established veterans showing that they're still at the top of their game.

In Women's Skateboard Park, 14-year-old Heili Sirvio of Finland claimed her first-ever X Games gold medal and her second of any color. Sirvio held off 15-year-old Aussie Arisa Trew, who was going for her mind-boggling fifth-straight gold medal and placed in sixth. But Trew's quest for dominance in SLC was just getting started.

BMX Street saw another first-ever gold medal when 29-year-old Jordan Godwin of Great Britain finished at the top of the pack. Rounding out the podium were veterans Garrett Reynolds, 34, and Devon Smillie, 32.

Back to the youth movement: How about being the most successful teenager of all time at X Games? Brazil's Gui Khury, 16, could claim that mantle after winning gold in Men's Skateboard Vert, putting him at eight gold medals, the most of any teenage competitor in X Games history, and 14 X Games medals overall.

Khury entered X Games Salt Lake City tied with Trew for the most medals by a teenager.

Rounding out the action from Day 1, Australia's Rob Adelberg took gold in Moto X Best Trick for his 15th career gold and his 22nd X Games medal overall. Brothers Tom Richards (an X Games rookie) and Benny Richards to complete the Aussie podium sweep.

    Saturday Results

    2 of 3
Arisa Trew took gold in Women's Skateboard Vert Best Trick on Saturday with the first kickflip body varial 540 ever landed in women's competition

With eight events, Saturday was chock-full of action at X Games Salt Lake City, and those who stood in the scorching sun were rewarded with plenty of never-been-done tricks and other history-making moments.

In Men's BMX Park, Justin Dowell, who entered the field as an alternate, made the most of his opportunity with a statement final run to earn gold. American Marcus Christopher, the only other rider to post a score in the 90s, and Japan's Rim Nakamura rounded out the podium.

Men's Skateboard Park, up next, featured multiple first-ever moments. Gavin Bottger, 18, entered the contest with two bronze medals and two silvers to his name, and his flawless third run clinched his first gold.

Australia's Kieran Woolley took silver for his fourth X Games medal. Tom Schaar's bronze marked his 17th career X Games medal, which breaks his tie with Tony Hawk for the most ever by a skateboarder. It's a poetic passing of the torch, as Schaar rides for Hawk's Birdhouse Skateboards team.

Women's Skateboard Vert featured a stacked field of young up-and-comers. Fourteen-year-old Mizuho Hasegawa of Japan earned her first-ever X Games gold. Arisa Trew finished just below her for her eighth X Games medal—her first medal of a color other than gold. Germany's Lilly Stoephasius rounded out the podium for her first X Games medal.

In Men's Skateboard Street Japan's Yuto Horigome and American Nyjah Huston squared off, as they so often do. Huston led the way with his first-run score of 93.00, but Horigome delivered in his highly technical third run to earn his sixth X Games gold and eighth overall.

But Huston, arguably the best street skater of all time, still made history with his 25th X Games medal, breaking the three-way tie for second-most all-time. Only Bob Burnquist (30) has more. Fifteen-year-old Julian Agliardi broke out to claim bronze.

In Women's Skateboard Street, Aussie Chloe Covell maintained her dominant streak. The 15-year-old clinched her fourth career gold and third straight win, tying Elissa Steamer for the longest winning streak in Women’s Skateboard Street. Japan's Yumeka Oda took silver, her fourth career X Games medal. New Zealand's Jessica Ready, 17, is another athlete who came into X Games Salt Lake City as an alternate and landed on the podium.

Then it was onto BMX Dirt, where Aussie Ryan Williams, better known as R-Willy, was going for his 10th X Games gold medal but the first in this discipline. He finally got the monkey off his back, pushing two-time defending BMX Dirt gold medalist Brady Baker to silver. Veteran Daniel Sandoval took bronze for his fifth medal in the discipline.

In Women's Skateboard Vert Best Trick, Trew was golden once again. But perhaps more meaningfully, she became the first woman to land a kickflip body varial 540 in competition, a trick she'd only landed once in training.

This time it was Mizuho Hasegawa who took silver, and Canadian star Reese Nelson, just 12 years old, rounded out the podium with bronze.

Finishing out Day 2, Belgium’s Julien Vanstippen took gold in Moto X Best Whip, his second in the discipline and fifth overall. Veteran Tom Parsons took silver and Aussie Jarryd McNeil, bronze, for his 16th X Games medal.

    Sunday Results

Ryan Williams made history on the final day of X Games Salt Lake City 2025, landing the first-ever triple backflip to dirt in BMX.

The history-making continued on Sunday in Salt Lake City.

First up was Women's Skateboard Street Best Trick. In a result that surprised no one, Aussie teenager Chloe Covell earned her second gold of the weekend, her fifth of that color and eigth overall.

Gui Khury continued to carve out new territory for himself, taking gold in Men's Skateboard Vert Best Trick. It was his ninth X Games gold and his 15th overall, now both the best marks for any teenager in X Games history.

In perhaps the most impressive feat of the weekend, Aussie Ryan Williams, who often pursues landing never-been-done tricks even if failing his attempts means he lands off the podium, made history by landing the first-ever BMX triple backflip to dirt in X Games history.

Williams wasn't able to land the trick he wanted in BMX Park Best Trick to close out the day, but he still walks away from the weekend having made history.

In Men's Skateboard Street Best Trick, Filipe Mota took gold, holding off Nyjah Huston.

American Colby Raha thrilled the crowd in Moto X QuarterPipe High Air, soaring 52'6" off the lip.

Women's BMX Park returned for just the second time in X Games history. Hannah Roberts, the best woman in the field, successfully defended her gold medal from 2024.
