Jake Paul Says He 'Embarrassed' Chavez Jr., Calls Out Fury, Tank, Badou for Next Fight
Jake Paul is setting his sights on stiffer competition after earning a unanimous decision over Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. on Saturday.
"It was flawless," he said of his performance, per ESPN's Andreas Hale. "I think I only got hit 10 times. He just survived and thought I did great. Going 10 rounds against a former world champion who's never been stopped. He's in there with Canelo, all of these guys, and I embarrassed him like that."
Paul asserted in his post-fight interview he wants to become a world champion before calling out Gilberto Ramírez, Badou Jack and even Gervonta Davis and Anthony Joshua. He also told Tommy Fury to "stop running."

The judges scored the 10 rounds 99-91, 97-93 and 98-92 in favor of Paul, and the punching stats back up the decisive outcome. "The Problem Child" landed 140 total punches to 61 for Chavez. He was particularly effective with his jabs, finishing with a massive 65-8 edge.
While this is the biggest victory of Paul's career, he's unlikely to shake the general skepticism that has followed his journey in the ring.
The 39-year-old Chavez is clearly past his best. His WBC middleweight championship run ended all the way back in 2012, and his loss to Canelo Álvarez was eight years ago.
For some fans, Saturday was somewhat reminiscent Paul's encounter with Mike Tyson, when the heavyweight legend mustered little offense.
If Paul is truly serious about challenging for a world title, then he needs to shift his focus toward tougher challengers who aren't years removed from their prime.
