NCAA Lacrosse Tournament 2025 Semifinal Bracket, Schedule After Quarter Results
The NCAA Division I Men’s Lacrosse Final Four is officially set: Cornell, Maryland, Penn State and Syracuse Head to Foxborough
Only one No. 1 seed survived the chaos—No. 1 seed Cornell. The rest of the bracket saw upsets, with No. 5 Penn State and No. 6 Syracuse crashing the party. Maryland at No. 2 survived a Sunday scare to secure the final spot.
Of the four teams, only Maryland is making a return trip to Championship Weekend after reaching the title game last season, where it fell to Notre Dame in a lopsided 15-5 finish.
Cornell enters the semifinals with a dominant 14-1 record, going unbeaten (6-0) on the road and suffering its only loss in a thrilling 13-12 overtime defeat to none other than then their Final Four matchup, Penn State in March.
The Maryland Terrapins boast an 11-3 record, their most recent defeat coming at the hands of Ohio State in the Big Ten Tournament, 14-10.
Syracuse, meanwhile, is surging through the NCAA bracket. The Orange wrapped the regular season at 11-5, with notable losses to their Final Four matchup Maryland (11-7) and Cornell (17-12), but have flipped the switch at the right time.
