WWE NXT Stand & Deliver 2025 Results, Winners, Grades, Reaction and Highlights

Kevin BergeApr 19, 2025

From the T-Mobile Arena in Paradise, Nevada, the best in NXT competed for the top prizes at Stand & Deliver to kick WrestleMania weekend into high gear.

Oba Femi defended his NXT Championship against both Trick Williams and Je'Von Evans. Could The Ruler keep his grip tight on the top prize?

Stephanie Vaquer hoped to keep her NXT Women's Championship reign strong, but she needed to survive Giulia, Jordynne Grace and Jaida Parker in a Fatal 4-Way.

Ricky Saints defended the North American Championship against "All Ego" Ethan Page. Could The Revolution keep up his early hot streak?

Who would win the Women's North American Championship in a ladder match between Zaria, Sol Ruca, Kelani Jordan, Thea Hail, Lola Vice and Izzi Dame?

Nathan Frazer and Axiom faced a motivated Hank Walker and Tank Ledger, hoping to finally live up to their potential.

The Family and DarkState went to war in a six-man tag team match that could solidify the dangerous threat this new group posed to all of NXT.

This was an important showcase of the black-and-silver brand, loaded with the stars of the future.

Elimination: Meta-Girls vs. Fatal Influence vs. Dolin Paxley vs. Perez Jade

1 of 8

In this No. 1 contender elimination match, it came down to Fallon Henley and Jacy Jayne against Tatum Paxley and Gigi Dolin.

After some miscommunication amongst Fatal Influence, Cemetery Drive sealed the win for Paxley and Dolin.

This was solid fun with some great execution from certain stars. In particular, Roxanne Perez, Fallon Henley, Jacy Jayne and Tatum Paxley delivered in big ways.

Dolin remains too awkward a performer for her position in NXT. She and Paxley are trying to build a tag team, but it still feels like the supposed rookie is the one carrying the momentum.

It was a waste to elimination Lash Legend and Jakara Jackson so early, but it is likely just setting the stage for the Meta-Girls to head to the main roster soon.

Jade walked out on Perez to set up likely The Prodigy's last big match before her main roster jump. Putting over Jade on her way out makes sense.

Result

Paxley and Dolin def. Fatal Influence, Jade and Perez and The Meta-Girls by pinfall to earn a future shot at the Women's Tag Team Championships.

Grade

B-

Notable Moments

- Perez caught Legend with Pop Rox to set up the first elimination.

- The Prodigy walked out on Jade to leave Dolin and Paxley to double-stack pin Jade for the elimination.

- Jazmyn Nyx distracted the referee to allow Henley to push Dolin into a leverage pin from Jayne, but the referee took too long to get the pin count.

North American Championship: Ricky Saints (c) vs. "All Ego" Ethan Page

2 of 8

A physically intense battle between Ricky Saints and "All Ego" Ethan Page nearly ended with a new champion.

However, The Revolution kicked out of the Ego's Edge and hit a Spear into the Roshambo for the victory.

This was stiff in a way WWE typically avoids, but two veterans on WrestleMania weekend were not going to hold back to make their mark.

The value of these two working in NXT is giving the new stars a chance to see what works and how to deliver in the ring. This match was a perfect example.

If newer stars like The DarkState, The Culling, Tyson Dupont and Tyriek Igwe watched this and take it to heart, they can improve their own in-ring work.

All around, this was a strong showcase for two of NXT's best experienced stars. Page always delivers, but Saints bumped big and hit hard to look just as good.

This was never going to be a dramatic match as Saints could not lose this quickly. Instead, this may indicate All Ego's NXT time may be coming to an end.

Result

Saints def. Page by pinfall to retain the North American Championship.

Grade

B+

Notable Moments

- Saints dived off the apron toward Page, but All Ego ducked and set up The Revolution to plant back first on the table.

- This set up Page to target the back, planting him on the top rope. The impact of the attack led to Saints bleeding from his mouth.

- The crowd threw out the "Tony fumbled" chant despite Saints asking fans not to chant it anymore in an interview with Good Karma Wrestling.

NXT Tag Team Championship: Fraxiom (c) vs. Hank & Tank

3 of 8

Hank Walker and Tank Ledger battled with the same endurance that pushed them through the gauntlet, and Nathan Frazer and Axiom simply could not keep up.

After Tank took out Axiom with a tope suicida, Hank and Tank collided with Frazer in the ring for the Honk Hank and the victory.

This rocked! As good as Fraxiom has been as a unit, this may be the best match of their entire NXT Tag Team Championships reign.

Hank and Tank kept up with them at a speed few can, making each big move a major highlight. Hank and Tank looked like true stars throughout.

The crowd was rolling for this and began believing in the challengers down the stretch to a point that they got the loudest reaction so far for the "Honk Honk" before the finish.

No team was better positioned to dethrone Fraxiom, even if took longer than expected. That only made the moment mean more.

Hank and Tank should completely take over the tag division from here and face challenges that require them continue leveling up.

Frazer and Axiom are at their best together right now, maybe the best team going today. It would be great to see them head to the main roster as a duo.

Result

Hank and Tank def. Fraxiom by pinfall to become the new NXT tag team champions.

Grade

A+

Notable Moments

- Hank found his focus, surviving a series of kick into a slap from Axiom and planted him with a running lariat.

- Frazer managed to tag in to stop Hank with a standing shooting star press.

- Frazer helped Axiom over the ropes for a headscissors takedown on Hank off the apron into Tank on the floor.

- Tank opened the ropes for Hank to go for a tope suicida, but Fraxiom ducked, leaving Hank to plant on the announce table.

- Fraxiom kicked away the handshake attempt of Hank and Tank only to pull them in for a hug instead.

Women's North American Championship Ladder Match

4 of 8

Sol Ruca and Zaria worked well together until the closing stretch where they met at the top of the ladder.

The surfer knocked down her tag team partner then hit three other women with Sol Snatchers before heading up to the top of the ladder to win.

This was a fun ladder match with some smart set-up spots that sold the fight of all involved.

She has awaited a chance like this and made the most of it. The main problem is simply that multi-wrestler ladder matches like this are played out.

Beyond the Sol Snatchers at the end of the contest and the win, it is hard to imagine much will be remembered from this one.

It was an interesting choice to give this to Ruca after spending so much time building Zaria and Ruca's connection as a team.

Thea Hail seemed perfectly positioned for this moment after her big return. Lola Vice has been waiting for a push.

Even Izzi Dame could have used the opportunity, though it may have been too early in Culling rebrand. Kelani Jordan was the only one who did not need the victory.

In the end, only one woman can win, and Ruca should be a good champion. NXT will just have to wrestle with whether to keep her and Zaria together after this. A match between them for the title would be PLE worthy.

Result

Ruca def. Zaria, Vice, Hail, Jordan and Dame by taking down the title to become the Women's North American champion.

Grade

C+

Notable Moments

- Lani moonsaulted onto Ruca and Vice outside then sent Dame into a ladder with a standing leg drop and planted Zaria on another ladder.

- Zaria took a Dame superkick for Ruca then The Culling star planted Ruca with a double chokeslam off the ladder.

- Hail got close to the title, but Dame pulled the ladder away. Hail knocked down Dame, but Zaria lifted the ladder to send Hail onto The Culling outside.

- Vice stopped Zaria with a sleeper hold, both plummeting onto a ladder followed by a Lani frog splash on Vice.

The D'Angelo Family vs. DarkState

5 of 8

Tony D'Angelo and Channing "Stacks" Lorenzo worked smoothly together for a while, but the arguments escalated until Stacks low blowed The Don.

This set up the double team on The Don to seal the victory for DarkState.

This was much better than it looked to be on paper, helped by every man in DarkState stepping up to the moment.

They brought an aggression that sold them as top guys in the making that likely could have defeated The Family on their own.

However, the tension in the air has finally broken up The Family. The Don called it for weeks, showing that he was smart enough to see this coming.

At the end of the day though, he had to believe Stacks would hold to his word in order to combat DarkState. It did not work out for D'Angelo.

It is a shame that The Family never made it to the main roster, but this likely sets up The Don to put over Stacks on his way up, leaving The Underboss to prove himself.

It will take a significant push to sell Stacks though as worthy of taking on The Family mantle in NXT. Right now, it looks more likely The Don will have him taken out for his betrayal.

Result

DarkState def. The Family by pinfall.

Grade

B+

Notable Moments

- The brawl started outside the ring during DarkState's entrance.

- Dion Lennox got so aggressive with Luca Crusifino on the outside that his own stablemates had to calm him down.

- The physicality continued to escalate until everyone was brawling in the ring. Karmen Petrovic frog splashed into Cutler James outside.

- The Don and The Underboss argued over crowbars, leading to The Don taking a shot to the chest.

- Stacks headed out of the arena before Crusifino found him. The Underboss told him to have his phone ready.

- Backstage, Penn & Teller made Lexis King's Heritage Cup disappear. This could be a way to write off the Cup for good (or turn it into a championship).

NXT Women's Title: Stephanie Vaquer (c) vs. Giulia vs. Jordynne Grace vs. Jaida Parker

6 of 8

Four of NXT's top women battled with intense focus, all close to a victory, but The Dark Angel was just a little faster than her competition.

Jordynne Grace caught Giulia with the Juggernaut Bomb but took the Hipnotic. Parker blasted The Beautiful Madness with another Hipnotic but fell right into Stephanie Vaquer's SVB for the loss.

This was not always clean, but it was good fun throughout. Everyone got a moment to shine, and no one looked like a loser.

While Vic Joseph's call after the match to "follow that" felt too strong, this lived up to the hype for the talent involved.

With Vaquer's expected retention, NXT has months of exciting match-ups left for the champion. Vaquer and Giulia did not interact much to keep plenty for a singles rematch.

NXT could have something with Vaquer vs. Grace as they looked great going back and forth. With the right story build from here, they could have the NXT match of the year.

Parker had the most trouble keeping up with her competition, but she still looked like a future top star. She was just not hitting as cleanly as her three veteran opponents.

Result

Vaquer def. Parker, Giulia and Grace by pinfall to retain the NXT Women's Championship.

Grade

B

Notable Moments

- Vaquer and Grace got the ring one on one and grappled back and forth. The Dark Angel almost took the win early with a rolling Delfin Clutch.

- Grace lifted both Vaquer and Giulia out of the corner, setting up a Blockbuster from Parker on both lifted women.

- Giulia and Vaquer met in the ring where The Beautiful Madness battered The Dark Angel into the mat with headbutts.

- Parker planted all three women at once with the Teardrop.

- Parker caught Grace in a leg trap, but Giulia locked Parker into an Octopus Stretch. Vaquer slipped in with a crossface on Grace, almost causing a submission.

- The crowd was calling for The Devil's Kiss for a while, and she finally hit it on all three of her opponents one after the other.

NXT Championship: Oba Femi (c) vs. Trick Williams vs. Je'Von Evans

7 of 8

After consistently high-octane action, Je'Von Evans doubled up the OG Cutter on Trick Williams and Oba Femi, followed by a springboard corkscrew on The Ruler.

However, Trick caught The Young OG with a Trick Knee followed by a Fall From Grace to Trick and Evans to win.

The idea of this triple threat was to keep all three men in the action as much as possible rather than a series of one-on-one clashes, which led to a significant amount of choreographed spots.

Most of them went well, though there were some miscues that the commentators struggled to explain away.

This is inevitable though with how much these three were willing to do to pop the crowd, and it ultimately led to a wild and consistently exciting main event.

This whole night delivered wild action first over strong clear stories, and this was a worthy main event with that in mind.

Oba deserved to retain as he continues to deliver in spades with his opportunities, though it did lead to a fairly anticlimactic finish for the night.

With all the DarkState teases, they did not have any impact on the main event. The title did not change hands, especially allowing Evans to become WWE's youngest champion ever.

While NXT cannot always rely on big story moments, ending like this on WrestleMania weekend will likely lead to a forgotten Stand & Deliver by the end of the weekend.

This main event lacked a talking point that WWE can echo throughout WrestleMania to get fans to tune into NXT on Tuesday.

Result

Oba def. Evans and Trick by pinfall to retain the NXT Championship.

Grade

B+

Notable Moments

- Oba caught Trick mid-Alabama Slam on Evans and planted both men with a Samoan Drop.

- The Ruler caught both men in the corner and laid out both with a stacked vertical suplex. He then planted both with spinebusters.

- Evans managed to lift and plant The Ruler to set up an OG Cutter. Oba barely kicked out then Trick took out the referee.

- Oba finally decided to deal with Evans, sending him through the barricade. Trick responded with a Booker End through the announce table.

- Trick hit Evans with the Trick Knee, but The Ruler grabbed the leg of the referee to slow the count before breaking it up.

Overall Show

8 of 8

Stand & Deliver is often a chance for WWE's youngest brand to steal the show and get fans talking about the future of the business.

Everyone came to deliver for NXT, though this felt more like a mid-level premium live event than a true showstealer for WrestleMania weekend.

It did not help that the card was loaded with multi-wrestler matches, leading to more spots than selling the story.

The pace of the show especially down the stretch leaned into hitting those big moves and left NXT bereft of exciting talking points for the post-'Mania hype.

The best part of the show was Nathan Frazer and Axiom vs. Hank Walker and Tank Ledger. This passing-of-the-torch moment was thrown on the middle of the show but delivered both in spectacle and story.

Sol Ruca was the only other woman to win new gold on the night, and her victory was obscured by the most formulaic match of the day.

Overall, NXT delivered a quality card for a hot crowd that enjoyed seeing all the wild moves, but it worked more as warm-up than main roster challenge.
